Tips:

  • Foods that are smaller in size usually require a slightly shorter cooking time than larger ones.
  • Turning foods halfway during the cooking process will assure that all the pieces are evenly cooked.
  • Misting a bit of vegetable oil to fresh potatoes is suggested for a crispier result. When adding a little oil, do it only before the start of the cooking process.
  • Place a baking tin in the appliance when baking cake, quiche, fragile or filled foods.
  • You can also use the appliance to reheat foods. Simply set the temperature to 150℃ for up to 10 minutes.
  • For crisp air-fried foods, oil lightly. Some foods, especially if fresh, benefit from being tossed with a little oil in a separate bowl before frying. However, high-fat foods, like a well- marbled steak, or prepared foods usually require no additional oil.
  • Don’t overcrowd the pot or grill plate. Too much food, will inhibit browning and crisping. It’s batter to Cook food in batches.
  • Use silicone or wood utensils to avoid scratching nonstick surfaces.
  • When baking small items like cookies, scoop dough onto foil or parchment so you can quickly transfer to the preheated unit. You must preheat with the cooking pan in place.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

HOW TO COOK USING THE PROBE THERMOMETER

Unlike an instant-read thermometer, the probe thermometer stays in your food through the entire cooking cycle, constantly monitoring the temperature until it reaches the target. You can use the probe thermometer with any of the four cooking function. If using the probe, see below drawings for details on cooking pans and temperature ranges, but follow the instructions here to program the unit.

  1. Set the unit on a hard, flat surface with at least 6 inches of clearance on the top and sides. Put the cooking pan in the unit (and grill plate or air fry pot, if applicable).
  2. Insert the probe horizontally into the thickest part of your food (see drawings). Be sure the tip of the thermometer isn’t touching bone. If you’re cooking multiple pieces (for instance, several chicken breasts), put the probe in the largest one.

TROUBLESHOOTING

  1. Why is there white smoke coming from my unit?
White smoke can be a sign of a dirty splatter shield, there’s too much fat in the unit, or wrong kind of oil is being used. Be sure to clean the splatter shield after each use.

  2. Why my food cooked unevenly?
Two culprits are likely: overcrowding and not shaking or flipping. Space food with ample room on the grill, or fill the air fryer pot loosely with food to let air circulate. When grilling or air frying, shake or flip foods at least once during cooking for more even results.

  3. Why isn’t my food crisp?
Though you can air fry with no added oil, coating foods very lightly with oil (usually just ½ tsp per batch for most recipes) helps guarantee crisp results. Preheating the unit also helps.

  4. Why is the unit displaying an error code?
If your air fryer displays E01 or E02 on its control panel, it means there is a loose wire contact or a short circuit, and the unit will not function. Should this occur, please contact Customer Support for a replacement. An error code E03 indicates the unit is overheating. Unplug it and let it cool down before using again.

  • Clean the appliance after each use.
  • Remove the power cord from the power outlet socket and ensure the appliance is thoroughly cooled before cleaning.
