BEFORE INITIAL USE

  1. Wipe down the outside of the device with a clean, damp cloth. Use detergent and warm water to clean the drawers (3) and racks (2) or put them in the dishwasher.
  2. the first use of the device should be without any food in it, as it may produce some smoke or odours due to coating residue. To do this, follow the instructions in the “Set-Up and Connection” and “Use” sections. Allow the device to heat up on the highest temperature setting for approx. 10 minutes without any food in it (DEFROST programme).
  3. Then clean it again.

FUNCTIONS

The device has two cooking zones. Temperature and cooking time can be adjusted as you see fit, and a different program can be selected for each cooking zone. There are 6 programs to choose from. The cooking zones can also be synchronised so that either all temperature and cooking time settings are identical for both cooking zones (DUAL function), or just the end of the cooking time is synchronised (MEAL function) so that the different foods can be served at the same time.
The cooking zones can also be operated independently without synchronisation. In addition, it is possible to use just one cooking zone for smaller quantities of food.

PROGRAMS.
To select a program, press the corresponding button (19). The device has the following programs:

AIR FRY:
Ideal for crispy chips, chicken nuggets etc. Temperature: 200 °C (Range: 150–210 °C) Cooking time: 20 min (Range: 1 – 60 min)

ROAST:
Ideal for meat, roasted vegetables etc. Temperature: 190 °C (Range: 120–210 °C) Cooking time: 15 min (Range: 1 – 240 min)

BAKE:

DEHYDRATE:
Ideal for dried fruit, vegetable chips etc. Temperature: 60 °C (Range: 40–90 °C) Cooking time: 6 h (Range: 1 – 12 h)

DEFROST :
Used for defrosting frozen food quickly at 240 °C or for baking smaller food items (e.g. chicken wings) to make them crispy Temperature: 240°C (Range: 240°C) Cooking time: 10 min (Range: 1 – 30 min) Please Note! With this function, the temperature cannot be reduced. Reduce the cooking time if necessary, depending on the food.

REHEAT :
For reheating food that has already been cooked Temperature: 170 °C (Range: 130–210 °C) Cooking time: 15 min (Range: 1 – 60 min) The times and temperatures set for the programmes should be adjusted if necessary to ensure that the food is fully cooked. Adjustments can also be made during the cooking process.

Adjusting the Temperature and Cooking Time
After selecting a program, the temperature can be adjusted with the buttons (11), and the cooking time can be adjusted using the buttons (16). To select the values quickly, hold down the respective button.

Synchronising Cooking Zones
Two functions are used to synchronise the cooking zones:

  • MEAL function – for two different foods that require different cooking temperatures and cooking time settings, but should be ready at the same time.
  • DUAL function – for larger quantities of a certain food or for different foods with the same cooking temperature and cooking time setting.

Stand-By Mode
If the device is not in operation and no button has been pressed for 10 minutes, the device switches to stand-by mode.

TIPS

  • No oil is required for preparing food. Only a small amount of oil (2 to 3 teaspoons) should be used, if necessary.
  • Very small or light pieces of food could be moved around by the circulating air. If necessary, we recommend sticking these types of food together with toothpicks or a similar object.
  • The cooking time is always dependent on the size and quantity of the food as well as the cooking temperature. In general, the cooking time is shorter than in a conventional oven. Start with a shorter cooking time and gradually increase if necessary.
  • Mix the food around from time to time or turn it over with plastic or wooden tongs to ensure it is cooked evenly.
  • Check the food from time to time. If it is cooked to your liking, switch off the device, even if the program has not finished yet.

SET-UP AND CONNECTION

Please Note!

  • Check the device and the power cable for damage each and every time before using. Continue to operate the device only if it is undamaged and in working order.
  • Never place the device on a soft surface. The ventilation openings on the bottom of the device must not be covered.
  • Make sure there is sufficient clear space on all sides of the device when using it. Do not place the device below kitchen wall units or similar cupboards. The rising steam could damage them.
  • Only connect the device to a plug socket that is properly installed and matches the technical data of the device. The plug socket must also be readily accessible after connection, so the connection to the main device can be disconnected quickly.
  • Do not use any extension cables.
  • Do not connect the device along with other devices (with a high wattage) to a multiple socket in order to prevent overloading and possible short-circuiting (fire hazard).
  • Make sure the connecting cable does not present a tripping hazard. Do not let the cable hang down from the surface on which the device is placed to prevent the device from being pulled down.
  • Make sure that the connecting cable is not squished, bent or laid over sharp edges and does not come into contact with any hot surfaces.

USE

This device can be used to prepare all dishes that can also be prepared in a traditional conventional oven. For better results, read through the “Tips” section.

Please Note!

  • Make sure the device and the exterior of the drawers are clean and dry before each use.
  • Do not use the device for longer than 4 hours consecutively, except for when using the DEHYDRATE program.
  • Do not leave the device switched on when it is empty.
  • Food that is still wrapped in cling film or plastic bags must not be put in the device.
  • Make sure that the food does not come into contact with the heating elements.
  • Do not overfill the drawers. The hot air will need space to circulate optimally inside the cooking chamber. It’s recommended not to fill it to more than 1/3.
  • Make sure that foods containing oil and fats are not overheated, which may cause them to ignite.
  • Always place the hot drawers down on a heat-resistant surface after use.

DUAL AIR FRYER

  1. Prepare the food for cooking.
  2. To begin cooking with circulating air, especially with the AIR FRY program, insert the racks (2) into the drawers (3). The racks are placed on the silicone bottom.
  3. Place the food into the drawers, separated by type. One drawer can be used if you are cooking a smaller quantity of just one type of food.
  4. Insert the drawer(s) into the chamber(s) (9).
  5. Press the POWER button (10) to display and activate the control panel (1). Control panel for cooking zone 1 will be selected. (To switch to cooking zone 2, press the button 2 (18).)
  6. Select a program (19) and adjust the temperature and cooking time using the buttons if needed (11, 16).
  7. If only one drawer is being used, continue to step 9. If both drawers have been filled, set the temperature and cooking time for cooking zone 2 in one of the following ways:
  8. If you have selected different settings for each cooking zone, but the cooking times should end at the same time, press the MEAL button (12). If not, skip this step.
  9. Use the START/STOP button (17) to start the cooking process.
  10. Pull out the drawer(s) and place on a heat-resistant surface. Do not put them on the device!
  11. Switch off the device using the POWER button and pull the mains plug out of the plug socket.
  12. Remove the food from the drawer(s).
  13. Allow the drawer and the rack to cool down, then clean them (see the “Cleaning and Storage” section).

Pausing the Cooking Process
If you need to pause the cooking process, for example to mix the food or add more ingredients, simply pull out the drawer (3). The cooking time countdown (for both cooking zones if they are synchronised) will stop. It resumes after the drawer is inserted back in again.

Manually Stopping a Cooking Zone
To stop the cooking process in one cooking zone, select setting mode using buttons 1 (20) or 2 (18) and then press the START/STOP button (17). “End” will appear on the corresponding display, signalling that it has stopped. The other cooking zone will continue the cooking process.
