Plug Housings

The plug housings are available in panel mount or free-hanging versions. They are designed to accept the pin contacts.

Receptacle Housings

The receptacle housings are easy to mate and un-mate with the various plug housings and headers. They feature a positive latch design and accept the socket contacts.

Product Usage Instructions

Select the appropriate pin and socket contacts based on the wire range and insulation range required for your application.
Insert the pin contacts into the plug housings and ensure a secure connection.
Insert the socket contacts into the receptacle housings and ensure a secure connection.
If using a panel mount plug, mount it securely onto the desired panel or surface.
If using a free-hanging plug, ensure that it is properly supported and positioned for easy access.
To connect, align the plug and receptacle housings, ensuring that the pins and sockets line up correctly.
Gently push the plug and receptacle housings together until a positive latch is heard or felt, indicating a secure connection.
To disconnect, press the latch mechanism (if applicable) and gently pull the plug and receptacle housings apart.

VAL-U-LOK Connector System

The VAL-U-LOK connector system offers wire-to-wire and wire-to-board connections with contacts on a 4.20 mm [.165 in] centerline and current ratings up to 9 Amps max. per line. Plug and receptacle housings allow wire- to-wire and wire-to-panel configurations and header assemblies offer wire-to- board connections in vertical and right angle configurations. VAL-U-LOK connector system configurations are available in dual row 2-24 position and 3-5 position single row. Vertical headers are available with or without polarization pegs and with or without drain holes and offer a blind mate version. The right angle headers are available with or without screw mount flanges. Crimp, snap-in pin and socket contacts are used to terminate 26-16 [0.12-1.2 mm2] AWG wire with insulation diameters up to 3.10 mm [0.122 in].
