Product Information
The E20W Wireless Amplifier is a voice amplifier manufactured by Takstar. It is designed for various applications such as teaching, tour guiding, training, sales, and similar occasions. The amplifier has a response range of 80Hz-18KHz and a rated power of 5W. It operates in the frequency range of 630MHz-698MHZ and has a coverage distance of approximately 40m in open areas without interference. The package includes one E20W Voice Amplifier, one Wireless Headset Mic, one Charging Cable, one Shoulder Strap, and one User Manual.

Product Usage Instructions
To use the E20W Wireless Amplifier, follow these instructions:

1. Power On/Off: Rotate the Power switch & Volume knob towards the ON direction until you hear a click to power on the device.
2. To power off the device, rotate the knob towards OFF until you hear a click again.
3. Volume Control: While the device is powered on, rotate the Power switch & Volume knob towards ON to increase the volume level or towards OFF to decrease the volume level.
4. Power Indicator: The power indicator light will be solid blue when the power is sufficient. It will flash red & blue when the device has low power and requires charging. During charging, the power indicator will be solid red, and it will turn solid blue when fully charged.
5. Previous Track Button: Under Bluetooth/USB playback mode, short press this button to switch to the previous track.
6. Next Track Button: Under Bluetooth/USB playback mode, short press this button to switch to the next track.
7. Play/Pause Button: Press this button cyclically to play/pause music. Under Bluetooth playback mode, press this button to disconnect Bluetooth.
8. M Mode Button: When the device is powered on, short press this button to switch the working mode.
9. The device will provide corresponding voice prompts. If a USB drive and a mic are inserted, press and hold this button to enter recording mode.
10. After recording, press and hold this button again to exit and save the recording.
11. The device will automatically play the recorded content in a loop after exiting recording mode.
12. USB Port: Insert a USB drive here to play music files stored in it. Ensure that the audio files in the USB drive are in MP3 and/or WAV format. Format the USB drive to the FAT16 or FAT32 file system before copying songs. MIC Input: Insert a wired mic here to start wired voice amplification.
13. Avoid pointing the mic capsule towards the loudspeaker during operation to prevent feedback from howling.

Function Descriptions

1. Power switch & Volume knob: Rotate the knob towards the ON direction until you hear a click to power on the device and start voice amplification, and in the meantime, the power indicator will light up blue. Keep on rotating towards ON to increase the volume level, or towards OFF to decrease, and eventually power off the device when you hear a click again.

2. Power indicator: Solid blue when power is sufficient; flashing red & blue when low power and requires charging; solid red while charging and solid blue when fully charged.

3. Previous track button: Under Bluetooth/USB playback, short press to switch to the previous track.

4. Next track button: Under Bluetooth/USB playback, short press to switch to the next track.

5. Play/Pause button: Press cyclically to play/pause music. Under Bluetooth playback mode, long press to disconnect Bluetooth.

6. M mode button: When powered on, short press to switch the working mode, accompanied by corresponding voice prompts. (When a USB drive and a mic are inserted, press and hold this button to enter recording mode, accompanied by a flashing blue LED and a voice prompt “recording mode”.

7. After you finish recording, press and hold this button to exit and save the recording. Upon exit, the device will automatically play the recorded content in a loop.)

USB port: Insert a USB drive here to play music files stored in it.

8. Tip: Please make sure the audio files in the TF card are stored in MP3 and/or WAV format, otherwise it won’t be readable and may even damage the device. Please format the TF card to the FAT16 or FAT32 file system before copying songs, because other file systems (e.g., exFAT, NTFS) will cause failure to save recordings or play songs.

9. MIC input: Insert a wired mic here to start wired voice amplification. During operation, do not point the mic capsule toward the loudspeaker to avoid feedback howling.

10. AUX input: Connect with a mobile phone, computer, tablet, and other playback devices via ø3.5mm audio cable, and use the voice amplifier as an active speaker.

11. Charging interface: Connect the Type-C charging cable to charge the amplifier.

12. Strap clip: Used to install the shoulder strap for wearing the amplifier across the shoulder

Headset Microphone

1. Power switch: toggle switch to ON or OFF to power on or off respectively.
2. Charging port: Connect to a Type-C cable with a power adapter for charging.
3. M button: used for changing frequency, refer to the “Pairing Method” section for details
4. [+] button: press to increase mic volume. In pairing mode, press or long press to gradually/rapidly change to previous channels.
5. [-] button: press to decrease mic volume. In pairing mode, press or long press to gradually/rapidly change to the next channels.
6. Power indicator: light’s off when the power is off and not charging; lights up solid blue, when powered on and power, is sufficient; flashes blue if low power; illuminates red while charging and goes off when fully charged.
7. LED display: display info such as working channel, mic volume, and power setting.
8. Working channel/mic volume: display the current operating channel by default; 40 working channels in total, “01-40”. Volume level is displayed for 3s when you press the volume [+]/[-] button, 9 levels in total, “U1-U9”. The LED display goes off automatically after 10 without any operation.
9. High/Low power switch: Press both [M] and [-] buttons at the same time to switch to low power, LED display shows E0; or press both [M] and [+] to switch to high power, and the LED display shows E1. (Use distance is around 10m when set to low power, or around 40m when set to high power)

Operation Instructions

How to Use
Headset Microphone:

Pairing Method
First, power off both the headset mic and the amplifier. Next, power up the headset mic, and long press the mic [M] button for 3s until its LED display shows a circle. Then, immediately power up the amplifier, and wait until the headset mic’s LED circle changes into a static number. Talk towards the mic to test if your voice is amplified and if the pairing is successful. If the amplifier is not powered on within 10s after the mic enters pairing mode, the mic will exit pairing mode and its LED circle will change back to a static number. No sound when talking to the headset mic means the pairing is not successful, please retry.

Changing Frequency
Make sure that the headset mic and the amplifier are already paired, then power up both devices at the same time. Press the mic [M] button to change the frequency, and the channel number on the headset LED display will flicker. Then, press or long-press the volume [+]/[-] button to cycle through frequency gradually/rapidly, and press [M] again to confirm frequency, or leave it auto- confirmed after 3s idleness.

Methods for using multiple devices simultaneously

1. To use multiple devices at the same time, first reconnect them using the “Pairing Method” described above, then switch to different channels using the frequency-changing method.
2. When using multiple devices at the same time, it is necessary to switch to different channels to avoid interference.

Bluetooth pairing
Upon first use, you need to connect this device to your phone or Bluetooth device, following the below steps:

1. Power up the amplifier, press [M] to switch to Bluetooth mode, and start Bluetooth discovery and pairing, indicated by a flashing blue LED.
2. Enter the SETTINGS menu on your phone, find and enable Bluetooth, wait until “TAKSTAR E20W” is discovered, and tap on it to connect. When connected successfully, there will be a voice prompt about “Bluetooth Connected”. Devices such as cell phones, laptops, tablets, and iPads can play music via Bluetooth thereafter.
3. The next time you switch to Bluetooth mode, the amplifier will automatically connect to the previously paired device, signaled by a voice prompt “Bluetooth connected”. When Bluetooth is connected, press [M] to disconnect Bluetooth and switch to the next work mode.

Safety Instructions

To avoid electric shock, overheating, fire, radiation, explosion, mechanical risk, and injury or property loss due to improper use, please read and observe the following items before use:

1. Please check if the power of the connected equipment matches with that of this product before operation.
2. Adjust the volume to the proper level during operation. Do not operate at over-power or high-volume levels for an extended time to avoid product malfunction.
3. If there is any abnormality during use (e.g., smoke, strange odor), please kill the power switch and unplug from the power source, then send the product to the local after-sales service for repair.
4. The power adapter used, if any, should be approved by CCC certification or similar standards and comply with the power supply requirements.
5. Keep this product and its accessories in a dry and ventilated area. Do not store in a humid or dusty area for an extended time.
6. Keep away from fire, rain, liquid intrusion, bumping, throwing, vibrating, or blocking any ventilation openings, to prevent malfunction.
7. The product must, when installed on walls or ceilings, be fixed firmly in place at adequate strength to prevent it from falling.
8. Please abide by safety rules during operation. Do not use the product in places prohibited by laws or regulations to avoid accidents.
9. Do not disassemble or repair the product by yourself to avoid injury. If you have any questions or require any services, please contact our local after-sales service.
