PNI S916 navigatie GPS + DVR
The PNI S916 is a navigation GPS device with an integrated DVR camera. It features a TFT LCD touchscreen, a micro SD card slot, and a speaker. The device is powered by a Cortex A53*4 1.3GHz processor.
Product Usage Instructions
Installation Instructions
- Attach the suction cup to the vehicle dashboard using the locking lever and angle adjustment wheel.
- Mount the GPS bracket on the suction cup.
- Place the bottom of the device into the GPS bracket and push the top until you hear a click.
Turning On the Device
To turn on the device, long press the power button until the screen lights up.
Putting the Device on Standby
To put the device on standby, briefly press the on/off button. The screen will turn off.
Turning Off the Device
To turn off the device, long press the on/off button until the control menu appears on the screen, then press the Power Off button.
Power Supply
Connect the power cable to the mini USB port of the device and insert the cigarette lighter plug into the dedicated slot on the vehicle dashboard.
GPS Connection Problems
To solve GPS connection problems:
- Before using the device inside the car, move it in the open air. The device should connect to GPS satellites in about 3-5 minutes.
- To reduce the connection time, after starting the navigation application, close the screen by briefly pressing the on/off button. If you do not receive a GPS signal, check the following:
- Ensure you are not inside a building, in tunnels, or under bridges.
- In crowded cities with tall buildings, the GPS signal can be affected.
- Tinted windows can also affect the GPS signal.
Setting the Destination
- After setting the destination, if the application does not establish the route, ensure that the device is connected to the GPS satellites and then set the route again.
- Before the first use, charge the device for at least 5 minutes to provide enough energy to start. For the first use, move the device outside the vehicle and wait about 3-5 minutes to connect to the GPS satellites.
Warning : Do not mount the device in front of an airbag.
Resetting the Device
If an unknown error appears, press the reset button on the back of the device with a sharp object to reset it to factory settings.

- Do not power the device at a voltage other than that recommended by the manufacturer (5V 2A)
- Do not expose the device to direct sunlight.
- Do not use the device in areas with electromagnetic interference.
