WARNING
- This appliance is not intended for use by persons(including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
- Children should be supervised to ensure that do not play with the appliance.
- The appliance is intended to be permanently connected to the water mains and not connected by a hose-set.
- The maximum inlet water pressure of 0.8MPa for the correct operation of the appliance.
- The installation of this product has to abide by Surahanjaya Tenaga Malaysia. Our company is not liable for any damage caused by improper installation or failure to comply with the instruction indicated in the user manual.
- The electric supply must comply with the specifications in the technical table.
- The storage water heater must be permanetly connected to the electricity supply through a double-pole linked switch having a contact separation of at least 3mm in all poles incorporated in the circuit.
- It is recommented to install an approved residual current device(RCD) of 10mA sensitivity and higher than heater rated current.
- The pressure relief valve supplied with the heater must not be tampered with or replaced.
- Slight dripping of water from pressure relief valve is normal during the heating process.
- The overflow tube connected to the drain nozzle of pressure relief valve must be kept slopine downwards & unblocked.

IMPORTANT
a. Thermal cut-out will break the circuit to the heating element in any event
the water temperture in the storage tank becomes high(83℃±5℃).
Should this happen, switch off the heater electrical supply point and contact
our nearest service centre.
b. Thermal cut-off helps to prevent the heating element from being damaged in
any event the heater operates without water.
MOUNTING POSITION DIAGRAM
Ensure that the heater Hot outlet is always parallel above the Cold inlet after each installation.

INSTALLATION GUIDE
1. The heater must be installed on a solid wall and near to the point of use
for convenience of water and electrical supply as well as easier for future
maintenance to make sure the location is free from water flash. The selected
location must support a weight two times that of the total weight of the
heater fully filled with water.
Please ensure to use the mounting kits supplied with the heater. (refer to
fig.1)2. According to site requirements, you may
regulate the position of the flexible mounting bracket to floor, ceiling or wall
mounting configuration. Once the position is confirmed, please ensure to secure
the explosive bolts onto the heater and note that always tighten the
supporting screws at the bottom part of the heater.
2a. Floor Type Mounting
Tighten the supporting screws at the bottom part of the heater without
installing explosive bolts(refer to fig.2)2b. Wall Mounting(Left or
Right)
For mounting of heater on wall, drill two holes of distance(L) on the wall
depending on models and tighten the explosive bolts till 7-10mm from wall.
Slowly lay the heater onto the explosive bolts both of the flexible mounting
bracket holes coupled with the hooks. Pull the heater downwards to ensure that
it has securely held by these explosive bolts.(refer to fig.3)

2c. Ceiling Mounting
For mounting of heater on celing, drill four holes of distance(A,B) on the
ceiling and use expansive screws to fasten the heater to the ceiling.(refer to
fig.4)

WATER CONNECTION
IMPORTANT
Make sure the heater tank is FULLY FILLED with water before swithching on the
electrical supply.
-
The diameter of inlet(BLUE) and outlet(RED) pipes is G1/2”. Before connecting external fittings to the heater, please ensure that they are resistant to the working pressure and able to withstand the maximum temperature setting of the heater.
-
Isolation Barrier
Electric storage water heater with islation barrier can protect people from bathing in an unsafe electricity environment effectively. It is to form a permanent resistance inside the electric storage water heater, thereby reducing the electric current through the human body under abnormal conditions, eg: get electric shocks. -
Pressure Relief Valve
The pressure relief valve prevents excessive pressure built-up in the heater tank, and must not be removed or replaced. In the event the pressure in the tank exceeds 0.8MPa, the drain valve will operate and vent the water through the overlow tube which must not be closed or blocked. Closed or blocked the drain nozzle of the pressure relief valve may cause serious damage to the heater tank and void the warranty. -
During the heating process, slight dripping of water from the pressure relief valve is normal. For this very reason, we recommend you to connected an overflow tube to the drain nozzle of the pressure relief valve, leaving the other end of the tube always open, and sloping it downwards pointing towards the floor trap. (refer to fig.5)
ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
This electric storage water heater is completely factory wired to 3-way connector with L(LIVE), N(NEUTRAL) and E(EARTH) marking.
-
Switch off the electrical power.
-
Remove all 4 cover screws(A,B,C,D) of the heater. (refer to fig.6)
-
Refer to fig.7 connect electrical wire as follow:
Brown to L(LIVE)
Blue to N(NEUTRAL)
Green/Yellow to E(EARTH) -
Ensure that the copper wires are properly tightened on the 3-way connector.
-
Replace the front cover.

SCHEMATIC WIRING DIAGRAM
METHODS OF USE
- Before turning on the electrical power, ensure you have FULLY FILLED up the heater with water. To do it; open one of the hot water tap, then turn on the main water inlet in your house. Once the water flowing out from the hot water tap is normal with no choking noise, the tank is filled with water and the air inside has cleared.
- Check for any water leaks on all the pipe fittings and the heater body.
- Turn on the power supply to the heater, the HEATING indicator at the heater front panel will light up and the heater is in the process of heating up the water in tank to your pre-set temperature.
- During operation, you can adjust the control knob at the front panel of the heater to make changes to the temperature. Clockwise direction is to increase the temperature and anticlockwise is to decrease the temperature.
MAINTENANCE
All repairs and maintenance work must be carried out by our technical staff or any qualified electrician.
- Please perform a simple check on the heater before calling our Service Centre. This is to ensure that the fault is not due to lack of water or no power supply.
- To ensure the heater operates efficently, it is recommended to clean the inner container and the deposits on the heating element once every two years.
- Suggest to examine the aluminum anode yearly or replace it every two years. To do so, dismantle the heating element from the heater and unscrew the anode from the supporting bracket.
- In order to drain water out, it is important to check that the water heater has been switched off long enough for the water inside to cool down before removing the pressure relief valve. Flush the valve with water to remove any deposit of salts. The valve can be removed and reattached by use of a wrench.
- Disconnection of the water heater must be incoporated in the fixed wiring in accordance with the wiring rules.
- Check on a regular basis that pressure relief valve is operating correctly.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Symptoms | Solutions |
---|---|
A.No water coming out of the heater | Check whether all stop valves are opened. |
