WARNINGS
- Before use of the product, please read this instructions manual and keep it for future reference. The original document was prepared in Hungarian language.
- This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years or above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, provided that they are supervised or have been given instructions concerning the safe use of the appliance and understand the hazards involved. Children may not play with the appliance. Children aged over 8 years may perform the cleaning or user maintenance of the appliance under supervision.
- The appliance is designed to charge 3.7V Li-ion, or 1.2 V Ni-MH and Ni-Cd rod batteries.
- Never charge batteries that cannot be charged! Risk of accident, explosion, damage to batteries, personal injury or property damage!
- Don’t try to charge batteries that have been dumped in the rubbish, or are no longer in use.
- Always fully charge batteries!
- Do not charge deformed, damaged or leaking batteries!
- Do not expose them to extreme temperatures or weather conditions. Do not expose to direct sunlight, rain or snowfall!
- Do not subject it to physical stress, weight or heavy objects!
- Disassembly of the appliance is prohibited, it is a fire and accident hazard!
- When inserting the batteries, ensure correct polarity.
- Unplug the charger when not in use!
- Make sure that the appliance was not damaged during shipping.
- Never try to connect the device to the AC network when your hands are wet!
- Due to continuous development, the technical specifications and design of this product may change without prior notice.
- The most recent instructions manual is available for download from the www.somogyi.hu website.
- However we regret such inconvenience, we do not take any responsibility for possible printing errors.

COMMISSIONING

Place the batteries to be charged in the appliance.

The appliance is only suitable for charging the following types and designs of batteries:
Li-ion 3.7V: 10400, 14500, 16340, 17670, 18350, 18500, 18650, 26650
Ni-MH/Ni-Cd 1.2V: AA, AAA, AAAA, C -
Connect the microUSB side of the supplied cable to the appliance and the USB-A side to an AC adapter. Plug the adapter into a power socket.

The power consumption of the appliance is 5 V / 2000 mA.

If no battery is inserted, NC will be displayed on the display.
CLEANING
Before cleaning, disconnect the appliance from power supply. Use a soft, damp cloth and wipe dry. Never immerse the appliance under water no rinse under running water. Do not use aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents.
DISPOSAL
Waste equipment must be collected and disposed separately from household waste because it may contain components hazardous to the environment or health. Used or waste equipment may be dropped off free of charge at the point of sale, or at any distributor which sells equipment of identical nature and function. Dispose of product at a facility specializing in the collection of electronic waste. By doing so, you will protect the environment as well as the health of others and yourself. If you have any questions, contact the local waste management organization. We shall undertake the tasks pertinent to the manufacturer as prescribed in the relevant regulations and shall bear any associated costs arising.

FUNCTIONS
CHARGING BATTERY

The appliance automatically detects the type of batteries connected and selects the appropriate voltage and default charging current accordingly.

By pressing the charge current selector button, you can switch between the possible charge currents, if possible, as follows:
- 0- 1.5 V: Default Ni-MH/Ni-CD battery, max. charging current 0.5 A.
- 2-4.2 V: Default Lithium battery, constant, adjustable charging current 0.5 A / 1 A / 2 A.

The actual charging current is shown in the centre of the display.
Caution! If you charge two different types of batteries, the appliance will always limit the charge to the maximum allowed charge current of the smaller type for safety reasons. -
During charging, the display shows the battery charge status, alternately the voltage and the time elapsed since the start of charging. Never charge Li-ion or Ni-MH / Ni-Cd batteries for more than 8 hours.
POWERBANK
The appliance is capable of functioning as a powerbank, for this purpose:
- Insert a Li-ion battery into the battery holder marked USB.
- Caution! The function only works with Li-ion battery.
- Connect the appliance to be charged to the USB-A output of the battery charger.
- The charging current of the appliance in this mode: 5 V / 1000 mA.
- The battery charger display does not work during the process.
