Product Information
The Wandleuchte Wall Luminaire Applique is an unshielded wall luminaire with four-sided light output. It is designed with a square layout and an elongated shape, making it suitable for installation on columns, wall pillars, and wall faces. The luminaire is made of aluminum alloy and features a silicone gasket. It has a protection class of IP65, which means it is dust-tight and protected against water jets. The luminaire also has an impact strength of IK07, making it resistant to mechanical damage. It weighs 5.1 kg and contains light sources of energy efficiency classes C. The product operates on LED power supply of 220-240 V x 0/50-60 Hz DC 170-280 V.
Product Usage Instructions
- The installation and operation of this luminaire should be carried out by a qualified electrician, following national safety regulations. Improper use or installation may result in damage forwhich the manufacturer is not liable.
- If any modifications are made to the luminaire, the person responsible for these modifications will be considered the manufacturer.
- Ensure that the luminaire is mounted securely on columns, wall pillars, or wall faces using appropriate mounting hardware.
- Connect the luminaire to a power source using the provided connection box with two cable connections.
- The luminaire has a rated temperature and ambient temperature of 24 505 K3 or 24 505 K4, depending on the module used. Refer to the module designation for more information.
- The luminaire is available with two module options: 3x LED-0701/830 with a color temperature of 3000 K and 3x LED-0701/840with a color temperature of 4000 K. Both options have a colorrendering index (CRI) greater than 80 and provide module luminous flux and luminaire luminous flux values. The luminaire luminous efficiency is also provided.

Overvoltage protection
The electronic components installed in the luminaire are protected against
overvoltage in accordance with DIN EN 61547.To achieve additional protection
againste. g. transients, etc. we recommend separate overvoltage protection
components. You can find them on our website at
www.bega.com.
Installation
Please note:
450 mm space above the luminaire is required for the replacement the LED
module and to change the synthetic diffuser.Undo the hexagon socket head
screws at the luminaire top. Lift luminaire top and plastic diffuser. Undo
screws (key slots) and remove the LED unit. Disconnect the plug connection.
Note the position of application of the luminaire “arrow down”. Drill fixing
holes with 310 mm spacing into the mounting surface and screw in enclosed or
other suitable fixing screws.
Use the supplied connection box to make the electrical connection (see
illustration). Undo the hexagon socket screws and open the connection box.
Run the luminaire power supply cable through the PG 9 cable gland and the
power connecting cable through the M25 cable gland and into the connection
box. For through wiring,the factory-fitted dummy plugs must be removed.
Tighten the cable glands securely.Make the earth conductor connection and the
electrical connection.Observe the correct configuration of the connecting
cable. Connect the live conductor to the brown wire (L), the neutral conductor
to the blue wire (N) and the earth conductor to the green-yellow wire (PE).
Close the connection box. Make sure the gasket is properly located. Hook the
luminaire base into the fixing screws and fix it. Assemble LED-unit. Push plug
into the coupler as far as it will go.Slide the synthetic diffuser and
luminaire to power the LED.Please note that the luminaire top will hook into
the guide pin at the luminaire housing. Make sure that gasket is positioned
correctly. Tighten the screws evenly.
Cleaning · Maintenance
Clean luminaire regularly with solvent-free cleansers from dirt and deposits.
Do not use high-pressure cleaners.
Replacing the LED module
The designation of the LED module is noted on a label in the luminaire.The light colour and light output of BEGAreplacement modules correspond to those ofthe modules originally fitted.The module can be replaced by qualified persons using standard tools. Disconnect the system and open the luminaire. Please follow the installation instructions for the LED module. Inspect and, if necessary, replace the luminaire gaskets. The defective glass must be replaced. Close the luminaire.
