BEGA 31 491 Ceiling and Wall Luminaire
Product Information
This product is a ceiling and wall luminaire that can be used for various lighting tasks in or on buildings. It is made of copper and thick-walled crystal glass. The luminaire is dust-tight, protected against splash water, and has an impact strength of IK07. It has a lamp holder E27 and a safety class I. The luminaire weighs 2.8 kg.
Product Usage Instructions
- The installation and operation of this luminaire should be done in accordance with national safety regulations.
- Only a qualified electrician should carry out the installation and commissioning.
- The manufacturer does not accept liability for damage caused by improper use or installation.
- If any modifications are made to the luminaire, the person responsible for these modifications will be considered the manufacturer.
- The luminaire uses a screw base E27 lamp. The maximum lamp output is 75 W.
- This product contains a light source with an energy efficiency class of E and a luminaire efficiency of 58%.

- To clean the luminaire, open it and remove the glass ring with the glass. Use only cleaning products specifically designed for this purpose.
- After cleaning, close the luminaire. Do not use high-pressure cleaners for cleaning.
- Spare parts for this luminaire include spare glass, LED lamps (3000K), lamp holder, and gasket. The part numbers for these spares are: 11 002 576, 11 13 588, 63 000 052, and 81 000 325.

Installation
- Please use the protective gloves provided for the installation to prevent fingerprints on the luminaire.
- Undo screws and remove the frame with glass from the luminaire back housing.
- Lead the mains supply cable through the cable entry into the luminaire back housing.
- Fix luminaire base with enclosed or any other suitable fixing material onto the mounting surface.
- Be sure to use the gasket rings supplied.
- Make earth conductor connection.
- Push silicone sleeves over the lines and make electrical connection.
- Insert lamp.
- Fix glass and frame with screws on luminaire back housing.
- Make sure that gasket is positioned correctly.
Copper
- The luminaire parts made of solid copper are delivered with the metal’s natural surface colour.
- Time and weather factors create the natural patina characteristic for copper.
Maintenance
Relamping /Maintenance
- Disconnect the electrical installation.
- Open the luminaire and clean.
- Use only solvent-free cleaning agents. Change the lamp.
- Check the gasket and replace, if necessary.
- Close the luminaire.
- For cleaning, do not use high pressure cleaners.
