E20 Voice Amplifier
Product Information
The E20 Voice Amplifier is a portable device designed for voice amplification in various applications such as teaching, tour guiding, training, and sales. It comes with a wired headset microphone, a charging cable, a shoulder strap, and a user manual.The amplifier has a power switch and volume knob for easy control.It also features a power indicator that shows the battery status. The device has additional buttons for previous track, next track, play/pause, and mode selection. It has a USB port for playing music files and a microphone input for wired voice amplification.
Product Usage Instructions
- To power on the device and start voice amplification, rotate the power switch & volume knob towards the ON direction until you hear a click. The power indicator will light up blue.
- To adjust the volume level, continue rotating the knob towards ON to increase the volume or towards OFF to decrease it. To poweroff the device, rotate the knob towards OFF until you hear aclick.
- The power indicator will be solid blue when the power is sufficient. It will flash red & blue when the battery is low and requires charging. While charging, the indicator will be solid red, and when fully charged, it will be solid blue.
- Under Bluetooth/USB playback, use the previous track button to switch to the previous track and the next track button to switch to the next track.
- Press the play/pause button cyclically to play/pause music. Under Bluetooth playback mode, long press the button to disconnect Bluetooth.
- Short press the M mode button to switch the working mode, accompanied by corresponding voice prompts. Press and hold this button when a USB drive and a mic are inserted to enter recordingmode. After recording, press and hold the button again to exit and save the recording.
- Insert a USB drive into the USB port to play music files stored in it.
- Insert a wired mic into the MIC input to start wired voice amplification.

Function Descriptions
- Power switch & Volume knob: Rotate the knob towards ON direction until you hear a click to power on the device and start voice amplification, and in the meantime, the power indicator ② will light up blue. Keep on rotating towards ON to increase volume level, or towards OFF to decrease and eventually power off the device when you hear a click again.
- Power indicator: Solid blue when power is sufficient; flashing red & blue when low power and requires charging; solid red while charging and solid blue when fully charged.
- Previous track button: Under Bluetooth/USB playback, short press to switch to the previous track.
- Next track button: Under Bluetooth/USB playback, short press to switch to the next track.
- Play/Pause button: Press cyclically to play/pause music. Under Bluetooth playback mode, long press to disconnect Bluetooth.
- M mode button: When powered on, short press to switch the working mode, accompanied by corresponding voice prompts. (When a USB drive and a mic are inserted, press and hold this button to enter recording mode, accompanied by flashing blue LED and a voice prompt “recording mode”. After you finish recording, press and hold this button to exit and save recording. Upon exit, the device will automatically play the recorded content in a loop.)
- USB port: Insert a USB drive here to play music files stored in it.
- MIC input: Insert a wired mic here to start wired voice amplification. During operation, do not point the mic capsule towards the loudspeaker to avoid feedback howling.
- AUX input: Connect with mobile phone, computer, tablet and other playback devices via ø3.5mm audio cable, and use the voice amplifier as an active speaker.
- Charging interface: Connect the Type-C charging cable to charge the amplifier.
- Strap clip: Used to install the shoulder strap for wearing the amplifier across shoulder.
Operation Instructions
How to Use
- Wear the headset mic on your head correctly, and adjust the pickup angle of the mic.
- Insert the ø3.5mm plug of the wired headset mic into the MIC input interface.
- Power up the voice amplifier (LED lights up blue) and adjust the volume to an appropriate level.
- If the power indicator flashes red and blue during use, it means that the battery is running low and requires charging in time.
Tips: It’s recommended to fully charge the device upon first use, and if not used for long periods, charge it for once every six months to avoid battery over-discharge which could affect battery performance.
Bluetooth pairing
Upon first use, you need to connect this device to your phone or Bluetooth
device, following below steps:
- Power up the amplifier, press [M] to switch to Bluetooth mode and start Bluetooth discovery and pairing, indicated by a flashing blue LED.
- Enter SETTINGS menu on your phone, find and enable Bluetooth, wait until “TAKSTAR E20” is discovered and tap on it to connect. When connected successfully, there will be a voice prompt about “Bluetooth Connected”. Devices such as cell phones, laptops, tablets, and iPads can play music via Bluetooth thereafter.
- The next time you switch to Bluetooth mode, the amplifier will automatically connect to the previously paired device, signaled by a voice prompt “Bluetooth connected”. When Bluetooth is connected, press [M] to disconnect Bluetooth and switch to the next work mode.
Safety Instructions
To avoid electric shock, overheat, fire, radiation, explosion, mechanical risk and injury or property loss due to improper use, please read and observe the following items before use:
- Please check if the power of the connected equipment matches with that of this product before operation. Adjust the volume to proper level during operation. Do not operate at over-power or high-volume level for extended time to avoid product malfunction.
- If there is any abnormality during use (e.g., smoke, strange odor), please kill the power switch and unplug from power source, then send the product to the local after-sales service for repair.
- Power adapter used, if any, should be approved by CCC certification or similar standards and comply with the power supply requirements.
- Keep this product and its accessories in a dry and ventilated area. Do not store in a humid or dusty area for extended time. Keep away from fire, rain, liquid intrusion, bumping, throwing, vibrating, or from blocking any ventilation openings, to prevent malfunction.
- The product must, when installed on walls or ceilings, be fixed firmly in place at adequate strength to prevent from falling.
- Please abide by safety rules during operation. Do not use the product in places prohibited by laws or regulations to avoid accident.
- Do not disassemble or repair the product by yourself to avoid injury. If you have any questions or require any services, please contact our local
