Installing the Product:

To install the Wi-Fi Smart Air Conditioner, follow these steps:

The Nedis WIFIACMB3WT9 / WIFIACMB3BK9 is a mobile air conditioner used for cooling and dehumidifying rooms. The product is exclusively intended as a mobile air conditioner for domestic, indoor use. Any modification of the product may have consequences for safety, warranty and proper functioning. This product can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the product in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the product. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be done by children without supervision.
The product is intended for use in household environments for typical housekeeping functions that may also be used by non-expert users for typical housekeeping functions, such as: shops, offices other similar working environments, farm houses, by clients in
hotels, motels and other residential type environments and/or in bed and breakfast type environments. The product is not intended for professional use.

  • Ensure that the exhaust hose does not kink.
  • Only store the product in a well-ventilated area.
  • When the product is installed, operated or stored in anon-ventilated area, make sure the room is designed to prevent the accumulation of refrigerant leaks resulting in a risk of fire or explosion due to ignition of the refrigerant caused by electric heaters, stoves,  or other sources of ignition.
  • Only persons with a current valid certificate from an industry-accredited assessment authority, which authorizes their competence to handle refrigerants safely in accordance with an industry recognized assessment specification, can work on or break into a refrigerant circuit.

  • Only use the provided exhaust hose.
  • Do not block the exhaust hose. Blocking the exhaust hose may cause overheating.
    1. Assemble the exhaust hose A5, the exhaust nozzle A4 and the exhaust hose connector Ae.
    2. Slide Ae over the air outlet A9.
    3. Extend A5 up to 1500 mm.
    4. Do not twist the exhaust hose.
  • Ensure that the exhaust hose does not kink.
  • Assemble the window kit A6 with the window kit fasteners A7.
    1. Install A6 in the window opening.
    2. Tighten A7.
    3. Snap A4 into A6 and fasten with the exhaust nozzle screw At.

Assembling the continuous drainage (optional)

  1. Open the drainage outlet Aq.
  2. Connect Aq to a water container or drainage system (not included).

Placing the batteries in the remote control

  1. Slide the battery cover off the back of the remote control Ar
  2. Insert 2 type AAA batteries.
  3. Slide the battery cover back in place on Ar.

Installing the Nedis SmartLife app

  1. Download the Nedis Smartlife app for Android or iOS on your phone via Google Play or the Apple App Store.
  2. Open the Nedis Smartlife app on your phone.
  3. Create an account with your mobile phone number or your e- mail address and tap Continue.
    • You will receive a verification code on your mobile phone or e-mail address.
  4. Enter the received verification code.
  5. Create a password and tap Done.
  6. Tap Add Home to create a SmartLife Home.
  7. Set your location, choose the rooms you want to connect with and tap Done.

Adding a product to the Nedis SmartLife app

  1. Switch on the product.
  2. Tap + in the Nedis SmartLife app.
  3. Select the device type you want to add from the list.
  4. Confirm the Wi-FI indicator LED B3 is blinking fast.
    • If B3 is not blinking fast, press the Speed button B5 on the product for 5 seconds during standby mode to reset the product.
  5. Follow the instructions in the Nedis SmartLife app.
  6. Rename the product after it has been found and added.
  7. After confirming you can control the product with your smartphone.

To connect your SmartLife account to Amazon Alexa and/ or Google Home, set it up using the “Smart Life” action or skill. For more details check the instruction on either Amazon or Google.

Using the control panel and remote control

Button Function
Timer button B 4 Press to set the timer. Use B 6 and

B 7 to set the duration of cooling.

Speed button B 5| Press the speed button during COOL or FAN mode to switch between high and low fan speed operation.

In DRY mode, it is not possible to switch between fan speed operation.

Up button B 6| Increase values.
Down button B 7| Decrease values.
Sleep button B 8| Activate sleep mode. Only works in COOL mode. After one hour the set temperature increases 1 °C and again after 2 hours.
Mode button B 9| Repeatedly press the mode button the select the mode: FAN / DRY (dehumidifying) / COOL.
Power button B q| Switch the product on or off.

protection function

Frost protection function
The product automatically enters the frost protection status if the temperature of the exhaust pipe is too low (only works in COOL and DRY mode).
The product automatically reverts to the normal operation if the temperature of the exhaust pipe rises to a certain temperature.

Protection function of the compressor
To increase the lifetime of the compressor, it has a 3 minute delay booting protection function after the compressor is switched off.

The overflow protection function
If water exceeds the warning level, the product emits a tone, and the ‘water full’ indicator starts flashing.
(See next paragraphs how to empty the water reservoir of the product.)

Manual drainage
The FULL indicator B2 flashes and the product emits an alarm sound to indicate that the water reservoir is full.

  1. Switch off the product using Bq.
  2. Unplug Aw.
  3. Place a water container underneath Aq.
  4. Remove the water plug of Aq.
  5. Slightly tilt the product backwards to ensure all water leaves the reservoir.
  6. Put the water plug back on Aq.
