Product Usage Instructions

  1. Read the user manual carefully for important safety instructions regarding installation, use, and maintenance.
  2. Keep the user manual for future reference.
  3. Ensure that the batteries are kept out of the reach of children.
  4. Do not use new and used batteries together or batteries of different types or from different manufacturers.
  5. Remove discharged batteries immediately and dispose of them correctly according to the applicable laws.
  6. Do not cover the product.
  7. Follow the assembly instructions provided in the images at the end of the user manual.
  8. The product includes a front grill, control panel, ventilation/heating selectors, dust grills (right and left), dust filters (right and left), power cord, remote control, main switch, and fixing screws for dust grills (4 pieces).
  9. Refer to the control panel and indicator lights on the display for operation.
  10. Use the horizontal oscillation button (C) to activate automatic horizontal oscillation while the fan is running. The corresponding indicator light will illuminate on the control panel.
  11. Press the display off button (G) while the fan is running to turn off the indicator lights and display. Press it again to turn on the indicator lights.
  12. Follow the maintenance instructions provided in the user manual.
  13. Dispose of batteries properly by removing them from the product. Do not dispose of batteries in household waste. Use designated containers or collection centers for battery disposal. Proper recycling helps prevent environmental and health hazards.
  14. Check the warranty information provided.

ATTENTION: read this booklet carefully it contains important instructions for a safe installation, use and maintenance. Important instructions to be kept for future reference.

  • This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
  • Children shall not play with the appliance.
  • Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
  • Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless continuously supervised.
  • Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall only switch on/off the appliance provided that it has been placed or installed in its intended normal operating position and they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.

  • Before powering the device make sure the rating (voltage and frequency) corresponds to the grid and the socket is suitable for the plug of the device.
  • Make sure the power system is equipped with proper protection according to the law in force.
  • DO NOT power the device using multiple sockets.
  • If possible, avoid the use of adapters and/or extension cables; if their use is absolutely necessary, use only materials in compliance with the current safety regulations and according to the electrical parameters of the adapters.
  • The device must not be switched on using external timers and/or other remote control devices which are not specified in this manual.
  • DO NOT use or store the device near heat sources (heaters, stoves etc.).
  • DO NOT dip the device in water or other liquids; in case the accidental fall in the water DO NOT try to take it out, but first of all unplug immediately the power cable from the socket.
  • If you use the device for the first time, make sure to remove any label or protective sheet which blocks its proper functioning.
  • Plug and unplug the power cable with dry hands and hold it firmly. Before plugging make sure the start button of the device is in the “OFF” position (turned off).
  • Always unplug the power cable to avoid the overheating and avoid stretching it (do not pull it, tug it or use it to drag the device to which is connected).
  • Avoid placing the power cable on abrasive or sharp surfaces or in positions where it can be damaged easily.
  • DO NOT obstruct totally nor partially the air vents or inserts objects inside.
  • During the functioning do not touch the device with wet body parts, and in any case it is recommended to have between you and the standing surface, an isolating element (for example wearing shoes with rubber soles).
  • During the use the device must be keep at a safety distance from any object and/or flammable or potentially explosive substance.
  • In case of malfunction or anomalies during the functioning, switch off the device immediately, turn off the power and check the cause of the anomalies, if possible, with the support of a qualified person.
  • Avoid carrying out operations which are not specified in this manual (such as disassembling and/or altering).
  • Always remember to unplug the power cable of the device if it is not used for a long period, before storing, cleaning or performing any maintenance operation.
  • Store and use the device only indoor or in any case protected from weathering such as rain, direct radiation of the sun and dust.
  • The device is not design for the external use or storage.
  • The cleaning and maintenance of the device MUST NOT be done by children without the supervision of an adult.
  • Before unplugging the device, switch it off, using the proper command on the control panel.
  • DO NOT hang the fan on the wall or ceiling unless this type of installation is provided and explained in this manual.
  • Place the device at a proper distance from the objects or surrounding walls making sure that its functioning will not cause accidental damages.
  • DO NOT use the device near gas stoves or open flames in general.
  • DO NOT use the device near curtains or textiles.
  • DO NOT hang the fan on the wall or ceiling unless this type of installation is provided and explained in this manual.
  • DO NOT cover the device during functioning.
  • DO NOT insert objects or body parts inside the protection grille of the fan. DO NOT leave the device unsupervised for a long period during functioning.
  • DO NOT expose yourself for a long period to the air flow generated by the device because it can cause damage to the health.
  • If the fan must be stored for a long period and is not used regularly, place the fan in its original packaging in a dry place.
  • When you use it for the first time after a long period of inactivity, make sure the fan is clean and the motor blades turn feely (with the device not powered) without any restraint.
  • For safety reasons, the appliance should never be opened.
  • The appliance has been designed and manufactured to operate in the home. Any other use is considered inappropriate and dangerous.
  • Do not insert objects through the safety grill or the air inlets.
  • Do not use the heater in presence of flammable substances (petrol,paints, etc.).
  • Do not place the cord near sources of heat.
  • WARNING: DO NOT COVER THIS PRODUCT NEAR CURTAINS OROTHER COMBUSTIBLE MATERIAL.
  • WARNING: DO NOT COVER THE APPLIANCE OR OBSTRUCT THE AIR INLETS TO AVOID OVERHEATING.

WARNINGS ABOUT BATTERIES

  1. KEEP BATTERIES OUT OF THE REACH OF CHILDREN. Swallowing can lead to chemical burns, perforation of soft tissue, and death. Severe burns can occur within 2 hours of ingestion. Seek medical attention immediately.
  2. Do not allow children to replace batteries.
  3. Always insert batteries correctly with regard to polarity (+ and -) marked on the battery and the equipment.
  4. Do not short-circuit batteries.
  5. Do not charge batteries.
  6. Do not force discharge batteries.
  7. Do not mix new and used batteries or batteries of different types or brands.
  8. Exhausted batteries should be immediately removed from equipment and properly disposed of.
  9. Do not heat batteries
  10. Do not weld or solder directly to batteries.
  11. Do not dismantle batteries.
  12. Do not deform batteries.
  13. Do not dispose of batteries in fire.
  14. Do not expose batteries to water or humidity, expecially in case their container were damaged.
  15. Do not encapsulate and/or modify batteries.
  16. Store unused batteries in their original packaging away from metal objects. If already unpacked, do not mix or jumble batteries.
  17. Remove batteries from equipment if it is not to be used for an extended period of time unless it is for emergency purposes.
  18. Clean the battery contacts and also those of the equipment prior to battery installation.
  19. In case of leak from batteries, avoid any contact with it; in case of contact, wash the affected part with water and seek medical attention.

Instructions for use

FAN / HEATING OPERATION SWITCHES
To use the product in the most efficient way it is necessary to move the switches to the mode you want to use:

  • HEATING MODE: pull the switches forward. This will help to reduce the entry of cold air and make the warm air feel warmer and more concentrated.
  • FAN MODE: push the switches back. This will make the air inlet volume larger and the noise will be significantly reduced.

NOTICE: please move both left and right switches together

Place the fan on a flat, dry and stable surface, be sure the main switch (8) is in Off position (O) and insert the plug of the fan in a socket. Turn the product on by pressing the main switch (8) in on position (I); the unit will emit a short “BIP” sound twice. The unit is now in stand-by mode. For your convenience the unit can be operated by using control panel in the main body or using remote control included.

Batteries
Remote control is supplied with battery inside (CR2032 type, 3V); remove the transparent sheet from the battery cover before use remote control. When the battery is over, it must be replaced with the same type. To remove battery, follow the drawing on the back of remote control.

ON/OFF Button (A)
Press this button when unit is in stand-by mode to turn it on. At the first time, the unit will start to work at speed 2 and its indicator light will turn on in the control panel. Press this button when the unit is on to turn it off.
NOTE: the fan will run according to the settings it was last used before it was turned off when device switched on next time. NOTE: pressing this button in heating mode, the unit will work for approx 10 seconds in fan mode in order to cool down the heating element.

  • SPEED (B) Button (in fan mode)
    Press this button when the unit is on to select the desired speed: 1, 2, 3, 4,
  1. Cyclic function. The relative indicator light will turn on in the control panel according to the speed selected.
  • HORIZONTAL OSCILLATION Button (C)
    Press this button when the unit is on to activate automatic horizontal oscillation. The related indicator light will turn on in the control panel.

  • VERTICAL OSCILLATION Button (D)
    Press this button when the unit is on to activate automatic vertical oscillation. The related indicator light will turn on in the control panel. NOTE: vertical and horizontal oscillation can be activated at the same time.
    NOTE: under normal shutdown conditions, the vertical swing motor returns to the lowest point of the swing before shutting down.

TIMER / TEMPERATURE Button (E) (control panel)

  • FAN MODE: press this button one time to set the timer. The related indicator light (“h”) will turn on in the control panel. Press the button e1-e2 (in the control panel or remote control) to set timer to switch the fan off automatically after the set time from 1 hour to 12 hours (1 hour step). Display will show the time in hours before the automatic shutdown. To deactivate timer function repeatedly press e2 button till the display will show “0” and wait the device exit timer setting.

  • HEATING MODE (NON ECO mode): press this button one time to set the desired temperature (default 35°C). Display will show the temperature in °C blinking. Press e1-e2 button (in the control panel or remote control) to set the desired temperature (form 15°C to 35°C, 1°C step). When the ambient temperature reaches the set temperature,the heating wire turns off and the unit will work in fan mode for 10 seconds then enter in standby mode. When the ambient temperature drops 2°C below the set temperature, the unit will turn on again according to the latest setting. Press Timer / Temperature button two times to set the timer as explained above in fan mode.

  • HEATING Button (F)
    When the unit is on, press this button once to activate heating function (low power); the related indicator light will turn on in the control panel. Press this button again to select the maximum power; the related indicator light will turn on in the control panel.
    Press this button again to activate ECO mode (the related indicator light will turn on in the control panel). In ECO mode the display will turn off (is not possible set the desired temperature). In ECO mode the default setting temperature are 25°C and 18°C (they can’t be changed). When the ambient temperature is lower than 18°C, the unit will work automatically at maximum heating power level. When the ambient temperature is equal to or greater than 18°C and lower than 25°C, the unit will work automatically at lower heating power level. When the ambient temperature is equal to or greater than 25°C the unit enter in stand-by mode and will turn on again when the ambient temperature drops about 2°C lower than the set temperature (about 23°C).
    NOTE: in heating mode you can’t select the air speed.
    NOTE: to switch in fan mode it’s necessary deactivate ECO mode function by pressing heating button.

  • DISPLAY OFF button (G)
    Press this button when the unit is on to turn the indicator lights and display off. Press again to turn them on.
    NOTE: the appliance is equipped with a shut-off switch if it accidentally tips over.

Maintenance

Disconnect the plug from the socket before carrying out any cleaning operation. Let the appliance cool down well before cleaning it. For external cleaning use a soft and dry cloth. DO NOT dip the device in water, or splash it with any other liquids. DO NOT use solvents or any other chemical products for cleaning it. Reinstall the filter and the dust grille after cleaning and before connecting the plug to the mains. When you do not use it, after cleaning it, store the fan in a dry place.

Filters and dust grille cleaning:

  • Unscrew the 4 screws placed on the back of the unit to take out the dust grille (right and left side) and filters by pulling gently.
  • Take out the dust filters (right and left) from the dust grilles.
  • Clean the dust grilles by using a soft and damp cloth; dry the dust grilles well before reinstall in the unit.
  • Clean the dust filters soaking them in warm water with mild detergent for few minutes then rinse and let them completely dry before reinstall in the unit.
  • Place the dust filters on their dust grilles and fixing them by using the screws removed previously.

It is recommended to clean dust filters and dust grilles at lest once every month.

User Information

BATTERIES – Remove the batteries from the appliance before its disposal. Do not dispose the batteries with domestic waste. The batteries must be disposed of in the appropriate containers or in the specific collecting centre. Suitable segregated collection helps prevent damage to the environment and to human health. To remove batteries, refer to Instructions for use.

USER INFORMATION
“Implementation of Directive 2012/19/EU on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE)”, pertaining to reduced use of hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment, as well as to waste disposal. The symbol of the crossed-out wheelie bin on the equipment or on its packaging indicates that the product must be disposed of separately from other waste at the end of its service life. The user must therefore take the dismissed equipment to suitable separate collection centres for electrical and electronic waste. For more details, please contact the appropriate local authority. Suitable segregated collection of the equipment for subsequent recycling, treatment or environmentally-friendly disposal helps prevent damage to the environment and to human health, and encourages the re-use and/or recycling of the materials that make up the equipment. Abusive disposal of the product by the user shall result in the application of administrative fines in accordance with the laws in force.

Terms and Conditions

  • The guarantee is valid for 24 months.
  • This guarantee applies only if it has been duly filled in and is submitted with the receipt showing the date of purchase.
  • The guarantee covers the replacement or repair of parts making up the appliance which were faulty at source due to manufacturing faults. After the guarantee has expired, the appliance will be repaired against payment.
  • The manufacturer declines any responsibility for damage to persons, animals or property due to misuse of the appliance and failure to observe the directions contained in the instructions.

Limits
All rights under this guarantee and any responsibility on our part will be voided if the appliance has been:

  • mishandled by unauthorized persons
  • improperly used, stored or transported.

The guarantee does not cover damage to the outward appearance or any other that does not prevent regular operation. If any faults should be found despite the care taken in selecting the materials and in creating the product, or if any information or advice are required, please contact your local dealer.
