Warnings

This unit can be used by children aged 8 and above and individuals with reduced physical, sensory or mental capacity, or lack of experience or knowledge, if they are provided with adequate supervision or have received instructions regarding the use of safety equipment and that they under stand the risks related.
Children must not play with the unit.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
Attention: keep dry the appliance.
This appliance is supplied without battery; before use insert one battery AA 1,5V LR6 respecting the indicated polarity (Figure A on page 3).
In order to remove the cover of the battery seat, rotate it in anticlockwise sense and pull.
Always insert batteries correctly with regard to polarity (+ and -) marked on the battery and the equipment.
Do not charge batteries.
Exhausted batteries should be immediately removed from equipment and properly disposed of.
If you do not intend to use the appliance for an extended period of time, remove the batteries.
Do not short-circuit batteries.
If the battery leaks, take care not to touch any leaking acid. In the event of contact with the acid, wash hands thoroughly. Take care not to avoid any contact between the acid and eyes. Do not ingest.
Keep handy the guarantee, receipt of payment and these instructions for future use and reference.
After removing the packaging, check the appliance for any signs of damage.
In case of visible damage, do not use it and contact a qualified technician.
Keep all parts of the packaging out of the reach of children.
The appliance is not a toy: it is an electrical appliance and must be treated with the necessary caution.
The use of any electrical appliance requires to respect basic rules, namely:

  • Do not leave the appliance exposed to weathering (rain, sun).
  • Do not subject it to rough handling.

Attention: keep dry the appliance.
In case of a breakdown or malfunctioning of the appliance, do not attempt to repair it, but take it to a service centre approved by the manufacturer.
For safety reasons, the appliance should never be opened.

The appliance has been designed and manufactured to operate as nose, ears, eyebrows, beard and bikini area trimmer for domestic use. Any other use is considered inappropriate and dangerous.
WARNING: do not ingest the lubricant oil. In the event of ingestion, do NOT induce vomiting. Seek medical attention immediately.
Keep the lubricant container out of the reach of children.

User instructions

Insert one LR6 AA 1.5V battery (not included) as shown in figure A on page 3.
With the device switched off, attach one of the three heads (4, 5 or 6+7) on the base unit (1) as shown in figure B on page 3. Line up the symbol ▼ and the switch (3) and turn clockwise.
To activate the device, turn the switch (3).

NOSE HAIR TRIMMER (head 4)
The nose and ears must be clean before using this accessory.
Carefully place the device near the nostril or ear rim without inserting it too far inside or pressing too hard.

BEARD AND SIDEBURNS TRIMMER (head 5)
Use this head to trim the contours of your beard and sideburns.

EYEBROW TRIMMER (head 6 + head 7)
Use head 6 to shape your eyebrows.
Apply the comb 7 to head 6. The comb has two cutting lengths depending on which way round head 6 is attached.
Slide the comb over the eyebrows in the opposite direction of hair growth.

After use, clean the device.

Cleaning and maintenance

Before carrying out any cleaning tasks, ensure that the appliance is switched off.
– Remove the head by turning it anticlockwise and clean the base unit (1) and the head using the brush (9).
Clean the used head under running water; dry the head thoroughly before reattaching it to the base (1).

– Use a slightly damp soft cloth to clean the outside of the base unit (1). Never use abrasive products or chemical solvents.
DO NOT WASH THE BASE UNIT (1) WITH WATER. NEVER IMMERSE THE BASE UNIT IN WATER.
– Keep the blades lubricated; if the head movement starts turning more slowly, apply a light film of oil (8) to the clean, dry blades and turn on the device for a few seconds. Remove any excess oil with a dry cloth.

DISPOSAL

PACKAGING
In order to respect the environment, packaging material must be disposed of properly in accordance with separate collection.
Check local regulations.

**** Remove the batteries from the appliance before its disposal. Do not dispose the batteries with domestic waste. The batteries must be disposed of in the appropriate containers or in the specific collecting centre. Suitable segregated collection helps prevent damage to the environment and to human health.

USER INFORMATION
“Implementation of Directive 2012/19/EU on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE)”, pertaining to reduced use of hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment, as well as to waste disposal.
The symbol of the crossed-out wheelie bin on the equipment or on its packaging indicates that the product must be disposed of separately from other waste at the end of its service life.
The user must therefore take the dismissed equipment to suitable separate collection centres for electrical and electronic waste.
For more details, please contact the appropriate local authority.
Suitable segregated collection of the equipment for subsequent recycling, treatment or environmentally-friendly disposal helps prevent damage to the environment and to human health, and encourages the re-use and/or recycling of the materials that make up the equipment. Abusive disposal of the product by the user shall result in the application of administrative fines in accordance with the laws in force.

WARRANTY

Conditions
The warranty is valid for 24 months from the date of purchase.
This warranty is valid only if it is correctly filled in and accompanied by the tax receipt proving the date of purchase.
The appliance must be delivered exclusively to our authorised Service Centre.
By warranty we mean the replacement or repair of appliance components that are faulty from the start due to manufacturing defects.
However, assistance (for a fee) is also guaranteed for products out of warranty.
The consumer is the owner of the rights applicable by the national legislation governing the sale of consumer goods; this warranty is without prejudice to those rights.
The manufacturer declines all responsibility for any damage to people, animals or things resulting from improper use of the appliance and failure to comply with the instructions indicated in the appropriate instruction booklet.

Limitations
All warranty rights and all our responsibilities expire if the device has been:

  • Tampered with by unauthorised personnel.
  • Used, stored or transported in an inappropriate way.

In any case, loss of performance related to the aesthetics of the product or similar that does not compromise the essence of the functions is excluded from the warranty.
If, despite the careful selection of materials and our commitment to making the product you have just purchased, you find any defects, or if you need information, we recommend that you call your local dealer.
