Product Information
The PNI Extra 40 is a small CB radio antenna suitable for cars and trucks. It is compatible with any CB radio on the market and is very easy to install with the magnetic base included in the package. The antenna has a maximum power support of 50W continuously and 100W for a short time. It has a height of 45cm (including the magnetic mount) and is made of fiberglass material. The antenna comes with a 90mm magnetic base, a 4m RG58 cable, and a PL259 connector.
Product Usage Instructions
- Choose a suitable location on your car or truck to install the antenna.
- Ensure that the surface where you’ll be installing the antenna is clean and free from any dirt or debris.
- Attach the magnetic base of the antenna to the chosen location. The magnet will provide a secure hold.
- Connect one end of the RG58 cable to the PL259 connector on the antenna.
- Run the other end of the RG58 cable to your CB radio.
- Connect the PL259 connector to the appropriate port on your CB radio.
- Ensure that all connections are secure and tight.
- Turn on your CB radio and test the antenna’s functionality.
- If necessary, adjust the position of the antenna or check the SWR (Standing Wave Ratio) to optimize performance.
Note: For Romania, PNI CB antennas with magnets are factory pre- calibrated for a frequency of 27.225MHz CH22.
