Overview
Use
Before first use

Remove the water tank and lid from the pet fountain base by lifting them upwards. Clean the water tank and lid before first use. Do not soak the tank or the lid in water. Avoid exposing the metal connector to water. If a filter has already been inserted into the filter tray, you should remove and rinse it. Let it soak in clean water for 5 minutes.

Fill the water tank with clean water. Do not fill above the marking indicating the max water level. The water tank max capacity is 1.9 litres.

Put the filter back into the filter tray with the handle of the filter pointing downwards. Place the water tank back into the pet fountain base and push the lid back down on the water tank.

Connect the power cable to a wall outlet. The LED indicator lights alternately red and blue and the pet fountain powers on automatically.
Note! When the pet fountain is turned on for the first time, the pump automatically expels all air in the pumping system. This may distrupt the water flow. It may take a couple of minutes for the water flow to stabilize.
Connect to app

Find and install the app ‘Smart Life – Smart living’ on App Store or Google Play.

Register an account in the app or log in to an existing one.
Make sure your smart device has Bluetooth enabled and is connected to your 2.4 GHz wifi. -
Connect the pet fountain to power. The pet fountain automatically enters wifi pairing mode. The wifi indicator lights up and flashes rapidly.
Note! If the wifi indicator is not flashing rapidly, press and hold the wifi button until the indicator is flashing rapidly. -
Press”+” or “Add device” in the app.
If Bluetooth is enabled on your smart device the app automatically suggests connecting to the pet fountain.
To manually add the device, go to “Small Home Appliances” and select “Pet Fountain (Wi-Fi)”.
The app searches for devices nearby. -
Check if the wifi indicator is flashing rapidly and confirm in the app.

Enter the details for your 2.4 GHz wifi and follow the app instructions.

The wifi indicator lights up white and stays lit when the pet fountain is connected to wifi. This light can be disabled in the settings tab.

App operation
Using the app you can remotely start and stop the pet fountain. You can check the status of the water level and when it’s time to clean the pet fountain and replace the filter.
Factory reset
Press and hold the wifi button until the wifi indicator starts flashing rapidly.
Note! If you want to install the pet fountain in another wifi network, you have to disconnect it from the current wifi and remove it from the app. Click on the pet fountain panel on the app’s home screen, then the pen symbol “ ” in the upper right-hand corner. At the bottom of the page, press “Remove Device”.

Maintenance
Important! Disconnect the power cable from the wall outlet before performing any maintenance.
Replacing the filter
It is recommended to replace the filter every 30 days to avoid bacteria growth which can be harmful to your pet.
Contact the place of purchase to buy a new filter.
Rinse the filter and let it soak in clean water for 5 minutes before installing it.
Lift the water tank lid and remove the old filter. Press the new filter into the filter tray.
Press the wifi button to reset the filter alarm.
Note! The handle of the filter tray must point downwards when you insert it into the water tank lid.
Cleaning the pump
Lift the water tank lid from the water tank. Place the lid upside down on a flat surface. Remove the front of the pump by pulling it outwards (1). This may require some force as it is held in place by shallow grooves around the pump’s edges. Remove the pump cover (2) and the pump impeller (3) underneath it by pulling.
Clean the area around the metal rod using a cotton swab (4). Rinse all the pieces in clean water.
Assemble the pump.
Troubleshooting
Make sure your smart device is connected to a 2.4 GHz wifi with a stable connection. If you have a dual band router, your smart device may automatically connect to the 5 GHz wifi instead, which means it cannot communicate with the pet fountain. If this happens, disable the 5 GHz wifi in your router during the installation and try again.
The app needs access to your smart device’s location services. Make sure you have allowed access to location services while using the app.
The connection to the pet fountain was lost.
If you recently changed to a new router or renamed your network, you need to reinstall the pet fountain again. Remove the product connection to your app by following the “Factory reset” instructions.
Follow the “Connect to app” instructions to add the pet fountain to your home network.
The LED indicator is flashing red and no water is dispensed.
Check if the water tank lid is installed properly. Check if the water reservoir has enough water in it.
Safety information
Only for indoor use.
Unplug the pet fountain from power before cleaning.
Do not expose the metal connector to water. If the metal connector is dirty, clean it with a dry cloth.
Clean the pet fountain base using a dry cloth.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the pet
fountain.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without
supervision.
Place the pet fountain on a flat and stable surface to avoid tipping or affecting the pump efficiency.
Protect the power cable and place it in a way that the pet cannot chew or trip over the cable.
Do not handle the electrical plug with wet hands to avoid hazard.
The pet fountain is suited for use by cats and small- to medium-sized dogs.
