GRANDSTREAM 7602 WiFi Access Point
Thank you for using the Ooma Managed Wi-Fi® service! Blending the power of enterprise-grade, business-grade hardware with the convenience of a custom- configured service, Ooma Managed Wi-Fi® provides a hassle-free solution for businesses like yours. The Grandstream 7602 Wi-Fi Access Point is a compact device that is both stylish and unobtrusive. Setting up your access point is quick and easy. Once the device is installed, you can take advantage of its three 100 Mbit Ethernet ports.

Note the Network Name and Password
Before you get started, look at the sticker on top of the device. You will
see at least one pre-configured network name and password. You’ll need this
information later, so make a note of it below and then remove the sticker for
security purposes.

Connect the Grandstream 7602 Wi-Fi Access Point to the Internet
Connect the included Ethernet cable to the POE port on the back of the
access point. Connect the other end of the cable to an activeInternet
connection.
IMPORTANT: If you are using Ooma Connect internet service, connect the POE port to the LAN port on the Connect Base Station.
Power the Grandstream 7602 Wi-Fi Access Point on
Plug the provided AC adapter into the DC12V port on the access point and
connect the other end to a power source. The status light on the top of the
device will initially turn a solid green to indicate that it is powering up.
The light will turn a solid blue once the device is fully operational and the
Wi-Fi networks are available. This could take several
minutes.
Connect Devices to a Wi-Fi Network
Using the information you noted in STEP 1, you may now connect a wireless
device to the Grandstream 7602 Wi-Fi Access Point’s wireless networks to check
that the device is working properly. If you have wired devices, you can
connect their Ethernet ports to any available Ethernet port at the bottom of
the access point.
Key Status Light Reference
- Off – Device is powered off.
- Flashing Green – The device is performing a firmware upgrade.
- Do not power the device off during this process.
- Solid Green – Firmware check/update successful.
- Flashing Blue – The device is booting up or rebooting.
- Solid Blue – The device is operational.
- Solid Red – Firmware update failed
Troubleshooting
- Grandstream 7602 Wi-Fi Access Point status light is off – Your device might be powered off. Check the power adapter or the PoE connection.
- Unable to connect to wireless network – Check your notes above to verify that you are using the correct password.
- Connected to the wireless network but unable to access the Internet
- Move your device closer to the access point and see if the connection problem resolves.
