Specifications

Use

Before first use
Take out the filters and remove the packaging materials before first use.

Install filters

Put the filters back in the correct order:

  1. Insert the HEPA filter first.
  2. Insert the Cold catalyst/activated carbon filter second.
  3. Insert the Pre-filter last. The pre-filter is closest to the cover.
  4. Close the cover.

Get started

Place the air purifier on the floor on a flat surface, not too close to a TV, radio or the outlet of an air conditioner. Avoid direct sunlight and do not block the inlet or outlet of the air purifier.

  1. Plug the power plug into a wall socket.
  2. Press the Power button on the control panel.
  3. Choose a mode or set the speed or timer with the buttons on the control panel.
  4. Press the Power button again to turn the air purifier off.

Modes and functions

Auto

  • Press the Auto button to enter the Auto mode. The air purifier adjusts the air volume and speed automatically based on the air quality.

Speed

  • Press the Speed button to choose Low (500 RPM), Medium (700 RPM) or High speed (900 RPM).

Sleep

  • Press the Sleep button to enter Sleep mode. The lights on the panel turn off and the speed turns to Low.

Timer

  • Press the Timer to set a time from 30 minutes to 12 hours. One press adds 30 minutes. The air purifier enters standby mode when the set time has elapsed.
  • Press and hold the Timer button for 3 seconds to exit Timer mode.

Child lock

  • Press the Child lock button to activate the Child lock. The Child lock icon lights up and the rest of the buttons are locked. Press and hold the Child lock button for 3 seconds to unlock the buttons.

Wifi

  1. Find and install the app ‘Smart Life – Smart Living’ on the App Store or Google Play, or scan the QR code to the right.
  2. Register an account in the app or log in to an existing one.
  3. Turn on the air purifier and wait for the display to light up. Press and hold the Wifi button for 5 seconds, until it beeps.
  4. Press ‘Add Device’ in the app, go to “Small Home Appliances” and choose ‘Air purifier (Wi-Fi)’.
  5. Enter the details for your network in the next step. Wait for the devices to connect. A prompt will tell you if the connection was successful. You can now control the air purifier in your app.

Set the time

To set the time on the air purifier’s display, press and hold the Auto button for 5 seconds. The hour digit starts flashing. Use the Speed button to add hour and to the Sleep button to subtract 1 hour. Press the Auto button to confirm the hour and to move on to minutes. Use the Speed and Sleep buttons again to set the minutes. Press Auto to confirm. Note! If the air purifier is unplugged for 10 days or more, the time setting resets.

Cleaning and maintenance

Disconnect the power supply before any maintenance.
Pre-filter
Vacuum or wash the filter every 15 days to remove dust. If you wash the filter in water, let it dry completely before inserting it into the air purifier.
Cold catalyst and activated carbon filter
Vacuum the filter every second month. Do not clean with water. Handle it with care and do not expose it to direct sunlight.
HEPA filter
Ventilate the HEPA filter every second month.

Particle sensor

Clean the particle sensor every second month with a clean cotton swab. Remove the sensor cover (fig. 1) and clean the sensor gently with the swab .CLEVERIO-AP-300-Air-Purifier-fig-7

Filter alarm

  • The air purifier has a filter alarm set to 1500 hours. When the alarm goes off, clean the filters and check the status.
  • If the HEPA and carbon filters are miscolored or covered in particles, they need to be replaced.
  • Reset the filter alarm by pressing the Child lock button for 5 seconds.

Safety information

  • Leave at least 20 cm of free space around the air purifier and leave at least 30 cm of free space above it.

  • Do not expose the air purifier to direct sunlight and do not use it in very humid places (e.g. bathrooms).

  • Do not move the air purifier while it is turned on.

  • Do not pull the plug out with the cable. Do not touch the plug with wet hands.

  • Do not use the air purifier with a damaged supply cord. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified personnel to avoid a hazard.

  • Disconnect the air purifier from the power supply if you are not going to use it for a long time.

  • Do not put objects into the air outlet.

  • Do not place oblects on top of the air purifier.

  • Do not use near gas appliances, heating devices or stoves.

  • Turn the air purifier off if it emits abnormal sounds or vibrations, or if it starts to smell burnt.
