Economy Charger

Unpacking and checking
Take the charger out of the packaging and make sure your new charger and the USB charging cable are undamaged and in good working order. You should find the following items in the packaging:

  • E411 USB charger

  • GP NiMH rechargeable batteries (For exact battery quantity, please refer to “In the box” section of the pack)

  • USB charging cable (input/output)

  • Charging time is subjected to the power rating of the USB adaptor with 5V / 1A DC output.

Read the instruction manual thoroughly before use. Keep the manual for future reference.

  1. Insert 2pcs or 4pcs NiMH batteries into the battery charger according to the battery polarity. (Fig. 1).

  2. Connect the micro USB end of the cable to the micro USB port of the battery charger (Fig. 2a).

  3. Connect the other end of the USB cable to a wall charger (Fig. 2b) or similar USB port on a computer, power bank or car charger.

  4. Charging will commence and the LED indicator will show the status of the battery (Fig. 3).The LED indicator will show the flashing green color when the battery is charging. For bad or single-use battery, the rapid flashing green color will be shown in the LED indicator when charging.

  5. Once the battery is fully charged (LED constant green), remove the battery and disconnect the battery charger from the power supply.

  • Charging time varies depending on battery capacities.

Usage tips

  • It is normal for batteries to become hot during charging and they will gradually cool down to room temperature after fully charged.
  • Remove batteries from the electrical device if the device is not going to be used for a long time.
  • Battery storage temperature: -20 ~ 60°C
  • Charger operation temperature: 0 ~ 33°C

Safety information

  • This charger is designed to charge only NiMH battery. Charging other batteries may lead to explosion, battery rupture or leakage, personal injury or property damage.
  • This charger is designed for indoor use only. Do not expose the charger to rain, snow or direct sunlight.
  • Make sure the charger is used between 0–33 °C.
  • To reduce the risk of injury, it is recommended that GP NiMH batteries are used.
  • Do not use non-rechargeable, LiFePO4, NiCD or Li-ion batteries.
  • Do not use the charger in humid conditions.
  • Do not use the charger if it has a damaged plug.
  • Do not use the charger after it has been dropped or damaged.
  • Do not open/disassemble the charger.
  • This charger is maintenance-free but should be wiped clean regularly with a dry and soft cloth. Do not use abrasives or solvents. Unplug the charger before cleaning.
  • This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
  • Children shall not play with the appliance
  • Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision
