Product Information

The product is a TerraTrike, a three-wheeled cycle designed for comfortable riding. The user manual provides instructions for assembling the frame, tie rod assembly, direct steering stack assembly, and chain tube setup. It also includes information on cable routing and installation of the Enviolo System. The product parts list and diagrams are included for reference.

Product Usage Instructions

Frame Assembly
Insert boom into the outrigger section and tighten set screws. Install the tandem extension and tighten set screws. Install the rear frame section and tighten set screws. Ensure no gaps are left in the mainframe during assembly. Tighten set screws to 12Nm.

Tie Rod Assembly
Remove M8x30 bolts from tie rod assembly and discard or keep for stock, set M8 nuts aside for final installation. Install the tie rod using the M8x50 bolts and 20mm spacers located in the tandem parts kit as shown below. Note: install brake rotors and calipers before installing tie rod assembly. The left-hand tie rod assembly is preinstalled on hub mount. Remove M8x30 bolt and reassemble using the M8x50 bolt and 20mm spacer as indicated.

Alignment
Ensure proper alignment during assembly.

Direct Steering Stack Assembly
Assemble the steering stack as shown. Grease the steerer tube before inserting it into the head tube. Remove any excess grease from the steerer tube before installing the handlebar. Grease the axle before installing the wheel. Torque axle to 23-25Nm.

Chain Tube Setup
Mount the chain tube assemblies as shown. Ensure the chain tubes do not rotate in the clamps after tightening the pinch bolts.

Chain Routing
Route the chain as shown in the diagrams for the front, rear, and stoker crankset.

Cable Routing
Route the brake and shift cables as shown in the diagrams for both left- hand and right-hand cable routing. Use cable separators for shift cable routing. Ensure cable housing is properly seated in the controller.

Installation of Enviolo System

Refer to https://support.enviolo.com/hc/en-us/sections/360003243600-Assembly- documentationfor detailed instructions on installing the Enviolo System. Cable slack can be adjusted with the barrel adjusters (7) at the controller. Double-check overdrive and underdrive cable lengths before installing into the shift interface. Overdrive (latch cable anchor) should be 114mm from the end of the cable housing to anchor, and underdrive (barrel cable anchor) should be 120mm from the end of the cable housing to anchor.

Assembly Instructions

Frame Assembly

Ensure no gaps are left in the mainframe during assembly. Tighten set screws to 12Nm. Tie Rod Assembly

Alignment
Inflate tires before performing alignment. The alignment measurement is approximately 30¹/8 inches (center tread to center tread), though slight variance is possible. Most importantly, make sure the alignment remains neutral with a rider seated in the trike.

Direct Steering Stack Assembly
Assemble the steering stack as shown. Grease the steerer tube before inserting into head tube. Remove any excess grease from steerer tube before installing handlebar. Grease axle before installing wheel. Torque axle to 23-25Nm. Right Hand assembly depicted. Some components can be purchased individually as well as in pairs, see parts list below.

Chain Tube Setup
Mount the chain tube assemblies as shown below. Ensure the chain tubes do not rotate in the clamps after tightening the pinch bolts.

NOTE: Depictions of the Enviolo Shifter may vary, but the installation process is the same.
Thread both barrel adjusters completely clockwise (in) to provide maximum installation slack. Pull the underdrive shift cable (1) firmly at the rear axle location until it stops, checking to make sure that the shift indicator goes completely flat (enviolo TR and SP controllers), or that the grip rotates fully in the counterclockwise direction shown (enviolo CT, CA and CO controller, viewed from the right side of the trike). Install cable anchor (barrel) 120mm from end of housing. Tigthen set screw and trim cable.

Cable slack can be adjusted with the barrel adjusters (7) at the controller.

Ensure cable housing is properly seated in controller. Double check overdrive and underdrive cable lengths before installing into shift interface. Overdrive (latch cable anchor) 114mm from end of cable
housing to anchor. Underdrive (barrel cable anchor) 120mm from end of cable housing to anchor.
