TerraTrike Traveler Single Fold Model Cycle
Product Information: Single Fold Model
The Single Fold Model is a type of trike offered by TerraTrike. It features a hybrid steering stack assembly, chain tube setup, and cable routing for external drivetrain and Enviolo Hub. The product comes with a parts list and build notes to ensure proper assembly.
Build Notes
Before performing alignment, it is recommended to inflate the tires. The
alignment measurement for the Traveler is important, and it is crucial to
ensure that the alignment remains neutral with a rider seated in the trike.
Hybrid Steering Stack Assembly
To assemble the steering stack, grease the steerer tube before inserting it
into the head tube. Remove any excess grease from the steerer tube before
installing the handlebar. Grease the axle before installing the wheel and
torque it to 23-25Nm. The right-hand assembly is depicted, but some components
can be purchased individually as well as in pairs.
Chain Tube Setup
Mount the chain tube assemblies as shown in the instructions. Ensure that the
chain tubes do not rotate in the clamps after tightening the pinch bolts.
Space the upper chain tubes 2 from the mainframe hinge to achieve proper
foldability when the chain is installed.
Proper Hinge Orientation
Double check hinge orientation and tightness during assembly to avoid damage
to the hinge and/or frame. Refer to the Traveler Folding Guide for information
on how to fold the Traveler.

documentation for installation instructions of the Enviolo System.
Product Usage Instructions
- Follow the build notes and parts list provided to assemble the Single Fold Model trike.
- Before performing alignment, inflate the tires.
- Assemble the hybrid steering stack assembly as shown in the instructions. Grease the steerer tube before inserting it into the head tube and remove excess grease before installing the handlebar. Grease the axle before installing the wheel and torque it to 23-25Nm.
- Mount the chain tube assemblies as shown in the instructions. Ensure that the chain tubes do not rotate in the clamps after tightening the pinch bolts. Space the upper chain tubes 2 from the mainframe hinge to achieve proper foldability when the chain is installed.
- Double check hinge orientation and tightness during assembly to avoid damage to the hinge and/or frame.

Alignment
Inflate tires before performing alignment. The Traveler alignment measurement is approximately 29 ¾” (center tread to center tread), though slight variance is possible. Most importantly, make sure the alignment remains neutral with a rider seated in the trike.
Hybrid Steering Stack Assembly*
Assemble the steering stack as shown. Grease the steerer tube before inserting
into head tube. Remove any excess grease from steerer tube before installing
handlebar. Grease axle before installing wheel. Torque axle to 23-25Nm.

NOTE: Depictions of the Enviolo Shifter may vary, but the installation
process is the same.
The Traveler comes stock with the Enviolo CT system. Setup process is the same
for all Enviolo shifters.
Route cable housing from the controller to the manual hub interface. Make sure
that the cable housing lengths are sufficient to allow an extreme turning
angle. Secure cable housing to the cable guides on mainframe. Avoid tight
bends when installing the shift cable housing.
Thread both barrel adjusters completely clockwise (in) to provide maximum
installation slack.
Pull the underdrive shift cable (1) firmly at the rear axle location until it
stops, checking to make sure that the shift indicator goes completely flat
(enviolo TR and SP controllers), or that the grip rotates fully in the
counter-clockwise direction shown (enviolo CT, CA and CO controller, viewed
from the right side of the trike).
Pull the overdrive shift cable (2) firmly at the manual hub interface until it stops, checking to make sure that the shift indicator goes into a steep hill (enviolo TR and SP controllers), or that the grip rotates fully in the clockwise direction shown (enviolo CT, CA, CO controllers, viewed from right side of bicycle).
Cable slack can be adjusted with the barrel adjusters (7) at the controller.
Place the rear wheel into the rear frame, making sure not to obstruct shift
cables.
Ensure cable housing is properly seated in controller. Double check overdrive
and underdrive cable lengths before installing into shift interface. Overdrive
(latch cable stop) 114mm from end of cable housing to latch cable stop.
Underdrive (barrel cable stop) 120mm from end of cable housing to stop.
