GADGETMONSTER GDM-1051 RC Submarine
Product Information
The R/C submarine (GDM-1051) is a remote-controlled toy that can be used in water. It comes with a remote control and a charging cable. The product has an antenna that needs to be attached before usage. The submarine needs to be filled with water in the front and rear, but not on the inside. The product has a drain hole that can be used to drain water if there is any water inside the product.
Product Usage Instructions
- Open the package and take out the product.
- Attach the antenna.
- Open the battery compartment with a screwdriver, and insert the batteries. Tighten the screws.
- To charge the submarine: On the remote controller, change the switch to on. On the remote control, open the charge lid. Pull out the charging cable. Insert the charging cable into the charge port of the submarine. A LED turns on to confirm that it is charging. The LED turns off to confirm it is fully charged. The submarine is ready to be used.
- Pull out the antenna on the remote control.
- Change the switch to the remote control.
- Put the submarine into the water.
- To make the submarine move forward, press the forward button on the remote control.
- To make the submarine move backward, press the back button on the remote control.
- To make the submarine turn left, press the left button on the remote control.
- To make the submarine turn right, press the right button on the remote control.
- If there is water inside the product, drain the water via the drain hole. You may get out more water if you shake it.
- In the beginning, if the function time is less than expected, it might help if you do a full charge and full discharge for 8 times. It might recover battery life.
- If the submarine is not receiving commands correctly, there might be radio interference from other sources. Try moving to another area. It might be the batteries that need to be replaced (remote control) or recharged (submarine).

Open the battery compartment with a screwdriver, and insert the batteries. Tighten the screws.
Charging
- To charge the submarine: On the remote controller change the switch to “on”. On the remote control open the charge lid. Pull out the charge cable. Insert the charge cable into the charge port of the submarine.
- A LED turns on to confirm that it is charging. The LED turns off to confirm it is fully charged. The submarine is ready to be used.
- Pull out the antenna on the remote control. Change the switch to “on” on the remote control.
- Put the submarine into the water.

- Forward
- Backward
- Power switch (on/off)

- Dive/go down
- Turn left
- Turn right
- The function LED will turn on when you press any button.
- Press forward (3.), to make the submarine go forward.
- Press backward (4.), to make the submarine go backward.
- Press right (9.) or left (8.) to make it turn right or left.
- Press dive (7.) to make the submarine dive.
- The submarine must be submerged in water for the commands to work.
Troubleshooting
If the submarine is getting slow, it means it has low battery.
- For clarification: The submarine needs to be filled with water in the front and rear. But not on the inside.
Drain hole
- If there is water inside the product, the submarine will lose its balance. Drain the water via the drain hole(1.). You may get out more water if you shake it.
- In the beginning, if the function time is less then expected, it might help if you do a full charge and full discharge for 8 times. It might recover battery life.
- If the submarine is not receiving commands correctly, there might be radio interference from other sources. Try moving to another area. It might be the batteries that needs to be replaced (remote control) or recharged (submarine).
- If the submarine is moving in unintended directions, it might have air pockets in the rear of the submarine. Shake the rear of the submarine in water to get rid of the air.
- If the submarine does not dive correctly it might have air pockets in the front. Shake the front of the submarine in water to get rid of the air.

Warnings (built-in battery) -
Do not recharge the built-in battery immediately when it is exhausted, instead wait until it cools down before charging.
Warnings (the remote control’s batteries) -
Batteries should be replaced by an adult.

Only use recommended batteries.

Batteries should be installed with the correct polarity.

Never mix different types of batteries or new and used batteries.

Never try to recharge non-rechargeable batteries.

Always remove rechargeable batteries from the remote control before recharging them.

Rechargeable batteries must only be recharged under adult supervision.

Remove exhausted batteries immediately and replace them with new batteries of the same type. Recycle exhausted batteries according to local regulations.

Do not short-circuit the battery terminals. When charging, keep the battery and charger away from the reach of children.
