GADGETMONSTER GDM-1013 Music Hat
Product Information
The Music Hat (GDM-1013, GDM-1014) is made of 60% acrylic and 40% polyester. It comes with a control panel and speaker that can be removed for washing. The hat should be air-dried on a flat surface and should not be tumble-dried.
Product Usage Instructions
- Remove the control panel and speaker from the hat before washing.
- Hand wash the hat once the electronics have been removed.
- Air-dry the hat on a flat surface. Do not use a tumble dryer.
Note: The maximum RF output (EIRP) is not provided in the manual.

Washing instructions
- You must remove the control panel and the speaker first.
- Once the electronics are removed you can hand wash. Air dry on a flat surface, do not tumble dry.
Safety instructions
- Do not expose the electronics in the hat to liquids or moisture.
- Take out the electronics before washing.
- Keep away from fire.
Connect
- Press and hold the play button for about 2 seconds to activate Bluetooth. A LED will flash red and blue. Via your phone or device connect to the hat.
- If a password is requested, please use the default: 0000.
Music
- A short press on the play button to play/pause.
- Long press on the + button = Next song.
- Long press on the – button = Previous song.
- A short press on the + button = Increases volume.
- A short press on the – button = Decrease volume.
Phone calls
- A short press on the play button to answer/hang up.
- Short press 2 times on the play button to redial the last dialed number.
Charging
- Use the supplied USB cable, connect it to the hat, and the other end of the USB cable to your PC or laptop, or USB charger. While charging, the LED is red. When charging is completed, the LED changes to blue.
- When there is less than 20% power left, a tone will be played. When there is less than 15% power left, Bluetooth will automatically power off.
On / off
- Press and hold the play button for about 3 seconds to power it on or off.
- A LED will flash blue when it is turned on. And the LED will turn off when powered off.
