GADGETMONSTER GDM-1027 UFO Drone

The UFO Drone GDM-1027 is a remote-controlled drone that can fly for about 5 to 8 minutes on a full charge, depending on the environment. The drone has a power button that can be short-pressed to turn it on and the LED will confirm by turning on. Press and hold the power button for 2 seconds to turn it off and the LED will confirm by turning it off. The drone can be charged using a USB cable, and the charging time is approximately 40 minutes.

Product Usage Instructions

1. To turn on the drone, short-press the power button. The LED will turn on to confirm the action.
2. To turn off the drone, press and hold the power button for 2 seconds. The LED will turn off to confirm the action.
3. The drone can fly for about 5 to 8 minutes on a full charge, depending on the environment.
4. To make the drone fly, hold it in your hand with an outstretched palm and gently lift your hand as if you’re about to throw it. The drone will automatically lift off and fly in the air. If you don’t make any actions within 2 seconds, it will descend and land. If you hold the drone in your hand or any other object, it will fly up and away. If you move your hand or any other object in the direction of the drone, it will move in the opposite direction.
5. The drone needs strong light, and it may not work well around black objects or glass.
6. To charge the drone, use a USB cable and wait for approximately 40 minutes until the LED turns off to indicate that charging is complete.
7. If the LED turns red, it means the battery is almost empty and needs to be charged.
8. The drone needs to be calibrated before flying. Wait for the LED to turn on to confirm that the calibration is complete.

Safety instructions

1. Only for ages 8 and up.
2. Contains small parts, not suitable for children under 3 years of age, choking hazard.
3. Forbidden to be used while you are in flight, for example, while you are flying in an airplane.
4. Forbidden to be used in proximity to overhead power lines.
5. Keep away and protect from water (including rain) and other liquids.
6. Do not attempt to repair or modify this product by yourself, instead contact the retailer.
7. Do not use in high wind or strong light.
8. Do not operate in narrow spaces or cluttered environments.
9. Do not put any heavy objects directly on the drone.

On / off

1. Power button
   • A short press on the power button to power it on. The LED will confirm by turning it on.
   • Press and hold the power button for 2 seconds to power it off. The LED will confirm by turning it off.

Flying

Flight time is about 5 to 8 minutes on a full charge, it depends on the environment.

• Hold it in your hand with an open palm and then lift your hand with a light motion like you are going to throw it upwards. It takes off automatically. It will fly up and hover in the air. If you do not do any action for 2 seconds, it will fly down and hover.
• If you put your hand or an object underneath it, the drone will fly upwards and hover.
• If you move your hand or an object towards it, the drone will move in the opposite direction.
• The drone can not handle: Strong light, black objects, and glass. And might behave strangely close to them.

• Stop it by grabbing it with your hand and flipping it over.

Speed

• The default speed is medium speed and the LED is green.
• A short press of the power button changes to high speed and the LED changes to blue.
• Short press the power button again to change to medium speed.

Calibration

• The drone needs calibration occasionally. Turn it upside down and put it on a flat surface like a table and double-click the power button. Do not move it while calibrating.
• The LED flashes in red, blue, and green, confirming that it is calibrating.
• Wait until the LED turns on to confirm that calibration is completed.

Charge

• When the LED changes to red, it means the battery is low.
• Use the USB cable to charge.
• Charge time is about 40 minutes.
• The USB LED is on during charging, and the LED turns off when the charging is completed.
