POPCORN MACHINE
This popcorn machine is an 8oz popcorn maker that comes with a storage compartment for utensils and non-perishable ingredients. The machine is rated at 120 volt and has 3 function switches: spot light and warmer, stirrer, and stainless steel pot heater. The kettle should be secured onto the hanger of the main unit before plugging in the power cord. The machine should be preheated for 3 to 4 minutes with oil before adding plain popcorn kernels.
Product Usage Instructions
- Make sure the popcorn maker is unplugged before performing any of the following steps.
- Plug the unit into a 120-volt power source to avoid potential damage to the unit.
- Clean the internal surface of the kettle pot and main unit surfaces.
- Use the main unit’s three function switches as follows: spot light and warmer (1), stirrer (2), and stainless steel pot heater (3).
- Secure the kettle onto the hanger of the main unit.
- Plug in the power cord to the popcorn maker.
- Switch on the light and heater (1 & 3) and fill the kettle with the correct amount of oil based on popping chart in Figure 5. Do not use butter inside the kettle, as it will burn.
- Preheat the kettle for 3 to 4 minutes with oil until steam rises from the pot.
- Measure out the corresponding amount of plain popcorn kernels from the chart in Figure 5. Use plain popcorn kernels with no seasoning or salt, as it will cause oil to splatter.
- Lift the lid and carefully pour in the kernels.
- Switch on the stirrer switch (2).
- Shut the door carefully.
- Popcorn starts popping out through the lid after about 2 to 3 minutes.
- Switch off the stirrer and heater switches (2 & 3) when popping is complete (no more popping sounds from the pot).
- Rotate the handle on the kettle counterclockwise to pour out all remaining popcorn from the kettle. Caution: The kettle will be hot!
- Keep the heater switch (3) off if the unit is not being continuously used.
- Serve your popcorn with the popcorn scoop provided.
- Remove the plug from the power supply if the unit is not being used for a long period of time.
- Repeat steps 7 to 12 for continuous popping.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Never immerse the kettle into water.
To avoid burning of excess oils on the bottom of the kettle, frequent cleaning
is strongly recommended.
- Let unit cool down before cleaning.
- Use wet towel to clean the kettle surface inside and out.
- With a clean damp cloth, wipe down the glass, acrylic doors and metal surfaces.
- Do not use any acidic, citrus based cleaners or abrasive cleaners on the Acrylic doors as it may scratch or become dull.
- Frequently empty the catch tray of old popcorn kernels and clean with soap and water and dry -thoroughly.
Additional Cleaning recommendations
- Complete basic cleaning as instructed above.
- To thoroughly clean the kettle, turn off the unit and add 1-1/2 to 2 cups of hot water (no detergent is necessary) into the kettle. Turn ON the stirrer and the heater and bring water to boil for 1 to 2 minutes. Place a towel in the bottom of the unit with a large bowl on top (make sure bowl is large enough to pour out the water from the kettle). Turn off stirrer and heater and carefully pour out water into bowl. CAUTION: Kettle and water will be HOT!
- Repeat same procedure 2 to 3 times for best results.

Do not pop kernels in a dry pot (without oil).

Unplug. clean and cover the unit and store in a dry, sate place while not in use.

Do not leave the power cord hanging over edge of table or counter.

DO NOT place the unit on or near a hot gas or electric burner or in a heated oven.

Extreme caution must be used when moving any appliance containing hot oil or other hot liquids.

Turn ALL switches to “OFF” position before disconnecting power plug from the outlet.

Not recommended for outdoor use.

Do not use appliance for anything other than the indicated usage.

To avoid overheating, always have oil and kernels ready before operating.

Extreme caution must be used when unloading popcorn, always use oven mitts. Be careful that residual hot oil or water does not come into contact with skin, as burns may occur.

If you have purchased a bar style popper, or are using the full unit without the cart, always place the unit over a counter-top so that residual hot oil or water will not cause injury.

- Use bolts & washers (Package B) provided to connect the long stand (F) and the 2 pc. square poles (E) together.
- Connect the completed Step 1 (above) with the short stand (G) by the bolts & washers (Package B).
- Insert axle (H) into short stand (G). Place washers (Package C) onto each side of wheels (J) and then secure with round cap nuts by using the wrenches provided (Package D).
- For more convenient assembly, turn the storage cabinet (K) upside down. Insert both ends of the short and long stand onto the bottom of (H) and attach by bolts (Package B).
- Turn the completed unit back to its upright position. Install the handrail (D) onto the left hand side and the working platform (C) on the right hand side by the nuts and bolts with washers included in Package A.
- Place the main unit (A) onto the top side of the storage cabinet. (Caution: Power cord outlet should be inserted into the u-shape position).
- Place the pot (kettle, B) onto the hanger. (Note: Roller bar should be on the door side and also be sure that gears between pot and ceiling are perfectly matched).
- Connect the power plug from the main unit ceiling with the socket on the bottom of the pot.
- Open the door of the storage cabinet and release the spring shaft beneath the main unit in order to fix the main unit to the storage base.

USING YOUR POPCORN MAKER
TIP: The popcorn maker comes with a handy storage compartment. It is a convenient way for you to store any utensils or non-perishable ingredients right along with your popcorn maker. You will always be prepared and well equipped to make hot, fresh popcorn anytime.

Make sure the popcorn maker is unplugged before you do any of the following.

Popcorn Maker is rated at 120 volt. Only plug unit into 120 volt power source to avoid potential damage to unit.

Kettle should be pre-heated for 3 to 4 minutes with oil (until steam rises from the pot).

Measure out corresponding amount of plain popcorn kernels from the chart. Make sure to use plain popcorn kernels with no seasoning or salt as it will cause oil to splatter.

Lift the lid and then pour in the kernels carefully.
Caution: Lid will be HOT! -
Switch ON the Stirrer switch (2).

Shut the door carefully.

Popcorn starts popping out through the lid after about 2 to 3 minutes.

Switch OFF the stirrer & heater switches (2 & 3) when popping is complete (No more popping sounds from the pot).

Rotate handle on kettle counter clockwise to pour out all remaining popcorn from kettle. CAUTION: Kettle will be HOT!

Keep heater switch (3) OFF if the unit is not being continuously used.

Serve your popcorn with popcorn scoop provided.

Remove plug from power supply if the unit is not being used for a long period of time.
-
Repeat step 7 to 12 for continuous popping.
