How to insert and replace batteries

  1. Rotate the battery cap on the bottom of the product handle to remove the battery holder inside.
  2. Combine 3 alkaline AAA batteries into the battery holder as shown in the picture.
  3. When connecting the batteries, check the + polarity carefully.
  4. The part with the spring on the holder is the -pole part of the battery without the spring is the + pole. Insert the battery holder with the battery attached in the direction of the arrow and turn the bottom battery cap in reverse to completely close it.

How to connect a USB cable

  • Connect the included USB cable (A to C) to the product’s USB C-type socket.
  • Connect the included USB cable to the adapter’s USB A-type socket.
  • The product does not work when connected to the fast charger’s USB C-type socket.
  • When the USB cable is connected, the battery power is cut off and USB power is used.

How to use a cradle

  • The Light Stick can be used by attaching it to a cradle

Power On/Off

  • To turn on the product, press and hold the button ①. When the product is powered on, it enters basic mode.
  • To power off the product, press and hold the button ①

Using basic mode

  • To change the LED color, press button ①
  • To change the LED flashing speed, press button ②.

The sequence is repeated in the following order: long > normal > fast > light (flashing off

Use color-shaking mode

  • To switch to color shaking mode, press and hold the button ② while the product is on.
  • The LED color changes every time the product is shaken.
  • To switch to basic mode, press and hold button ②.

Using Bluetooth mode

  • Turn on your smartphone’s Bluetooth mode and press and hold the buttons ① and ② for at least 2 seconds at the same time. The LED flashes blue and a Bluetooth connection is attempted with the smartphone. – When the Bluetooth connection is complete, the LED color changes to the color set in the app.
  • To switch to basic mode, press and hold the buttons ① and ② at the same time.
    • The buttons cannot be operated in Bluetooth mode, which is not a defect.
    • When connecting to Bluetooth, the connection to the smartphone may be interrupted intermittently during use.
    • Bluetooth only supports BLUETOOTH 4.2 or higher.

Use performance mode

  • To use performance mode, go to the “App Store” for iPhone users, go to the “Play Store” for Android users,” Search for “BOY NEXT DOOR Official Light Stick” and install the app.
  • Go to the “App” performance mode and select the performance date.
  • Then follow the instructions in the “App” to complete pairing.
  • Once pairing is complete, the LED on the cheering stick turns off automatically
    • Depending on the performance, it may be performed without pairing, so please refer to the performance information when attending the performance.
    • If the pairing between the smartphone and the product is not smooth, please contact the pairing booth at the Concert Hall.

How to remove and assemble the cheering stick light symbol

How to remove symbols
Grab the handle and turn the head in the direction of the arrow as shown in [Figure 1] – Press the head with the logo to open it left and right as shown in [Figure 2]. – Pull the logo (house) forward as shown in [Figure 3].

How to assemble a symbol

  • As shown in [Figure 4], separate the front and back sides and assemble them so that they make a “perfect” sound.
  • Please be aware that if there is no “perfect” sound, they may separate from the head during use. – Assemble in the reverse order of separation.

Handling precautions

  1.  Avoid hot and humid places and keep at room temperature when storing.
  2. Please avoid looking directly at the LED light from a nearby location.
  3. Please note that dropping or forcibly impacting the product may affect the LED color.
  4. Be careful not to swallow or put parts in your mouth.
  5. A strong impact on the product or contact with water may cause failure, so please be careful.
  6. If the product is damaged, discontinue use and do not disassemble/repair or modify the product arbitrarily.
  7. When the battery has reached the end of its life, please use a new battery and remove the battery when not in use for a long time.
  8. Store batteries that have reached the end of their lifespan out of reach of children or dispose of them at designated disposal locations.
  9. Be sure to use a genuine AAA battery and check the polarity carefully when inserting the battery. – Otherwise, there is a risk of product damage, burns, and fire.
  10. There is a possibility of confusion during the wireless operation of this product.

How to check if the cheering stick Bluetooth is working

  1. Install and run the Cheering Stick mobile app (search and download “BOY NEXT DOOR Official Light Stick”), then select Self-Mode.
  2. Press and hold the button ① and button ② on the product for at least 2 seconds to confirm that they are blinking blue.
  3. If it blinks blue, the product has changed to Bluetooth mode, and the mobile app connects to the product.
  4. Check that the color of the product image on the mobile app screen changes to the same color and select “OK” or “Cancel.”
  5. Select the desired color from the color palette on the mobile app screen and visually check if the product changes to that color.
  6. If the color of the product changes according to the selected color, the Bluetooth function of the product works normally.
  7. If the Bluetooth function of the mobile app is disabled, you may not be able to connect to the product.
  8. If the operation does not work properly, close the mobile app, enable the Bluetooth function on the smartphone, and then relaunch the mobile app.
  9. After running the mobile app, retry steps 1 to 5 above to check whether the product works with Bluetooth.

Quality certificate

  1. This product is manufactured through a strict quality control inspection process.
  2. If a failure occurs during the consumer’s normal use, we will provide a free warranty during the warranty period.
  3. Please be sure to present this warranty when requesting repairs.
  4. The warranty period is within 6 months from the date of purchase.
  5. The customer is responsible for repair costs within the warranty period or in case of after-sales due to customer negligence or damage. (including round-trip shipping)
