Function Buttons

Click Once

Press and Hold for 3s

Switch between °C
°F. Default unit:°F

HOLD / CAL
Hold the current reading
Click Once
The result will be kept for 10s. The Hold function will auto turn off if no operation is performed for 10 seconds. If you click the HOLD button again in 10 seconds, the hold function will be turned off.
Calibration
Press and hold for 3s First, mix 90% crushed ice and 10% water for 3 minutes, then press and hold the CAL button for 3S, the CAL will flash for 3 seconds, and then  put the thermometer into the ice-water mixture to measure. The screen displays and flashes 32°F (0.0°C) three times to complete 32°F(0.0°C) calibration. The thermometer  will automatically save the settings and enter the normal display state.

Note

1. Only when the ice-water mixture is within the range of 32°F ~33.8°F (0°C~1°C), can the thermometer enter calibration mode; otherwise, the calibration mode will be  unavailable. That is: LCD displays ERR and flashes three times, the product automatically exits the calibration mode and enters the normal display state.
2. The measurement environment should be carried out at normal room temperature.
   During calibration, the probe should not touch the surface of utensils. Always place the thermometer probe in a mixture of ice and water.

RESET
(Backlight)
Click Once
The backlight will last for 10 seconds and it auto turns off after 10s; but if you Click it again in 10 seconds, the backlight will be off.

Reset

Press and Hold for 3s
Press and hold the button 3s in power on mode, the LCD screen will flash for 3s to restore the factory settings.

   LL.L or HH.H will show on the display

Operation instruction of battery replacement

• When first using this thermometer, please remove the power insulation film at first. It is available for use after removing the insulation film.

• Low battery indicator:
  When the battery is low, will show on the display.

• Steps to replace the battery:

1. Open the battery cover in bottom(as shown in figure)
2. Press the battery to take it Out (as shown in figure)
3. It’s available for use after installing new battery
4. Close the battery cover

Troubleshooting

• Won’t Switch on
  Replace battery

• LL.L or HH.H on the Display
  Temperature exceeds measurable range:
  -58°F~572°F (-50°C~300°C)

• How to Clean
  Flush it with tap water.
  Never flush it for over 3 minutes, otherwise, it will be damaged.

• Compatible with Grill, Oven or Fryer?
  Handheld use.

• Inaccurate Reading
  Probe Length: 4.7in(120mm), try to insert the probe into the center of the food.

Use & Maintenance

• Do not touch the stainless portion of the thermometer during or right after measuring temperatures since it will be hot.
• Do not place the unit in dishwasher or immerse in any liquid.
• Do not leave exposed to extreme high or low temperatures since this will damage electronic parts and plastics.
• Do not leave the thermometer inserted in food during cooking.
• Remove battery if stored for more than four months.
• This item carries an 18-month warranty against defects in either components or workmanship.
