Product Information

The EN Wired Door Bell is a doorbell that plays melodic sounds when the bell push is pressed. The product requires 2 pieces of AA (1.5 V) batteries to operate, which are not included in the package. The product is not intended for use by individuals with impaired voltage and performance is notably lower. Children from the age of 8 can use the product under supervision or after receiving instruction from a person responsible for their safety.
The product should not be used by children without adequate knowledge or experience. The original instructions were written in the Hungarian language.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Before using the product, read and retain the instructions for future reference.
  2. Remove the front panel covering the appliance.
  3. Insert 2 pieces of AA (LR6) batteries into the battery compartment located under the opening on the back of the doorbell. If possible, use lasting alkaline batteries.
  4. Connect the wire of the bell push to the A1 marked screw pair to play one melody set by the button or to the A2 marked screw pair to play different melodies for each push of the bell push.
  5. Hang the doorbell using the indentation on the back of the product and fix it by passing screws through the opening located under the battery compartment.
  6. After mounting and fixing the doorbell, put back the front panel.
  7. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents or liquids to clean the product. Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the battery compartment.
  8. Replace batteries if their performance diminishes and more frequent battery change may be necessary.

WIRED DOOR BELL

Before using the product for the fi rst time, please read the instructions for use below and retain them for later reference. The original instructions were written in the Hungarian language. This appliance may only be used by persons with impaired physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lacking in experience or knowledge, as well as children from the age of 8, if they are under supervision or have been given instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety and they have understood the hazards associated with use. Children should not be allowed to play with the unit. Children may only clean or perform user maintenance on the appliance under supervision. After unpacking the unit, make sure that the appliance has not damaged during transit. Keep children away from the packaging material, if it contains plastic bag or it has other hazardous content! for replacing traditional door bells can be operated with the bell push of the old door bell 8 selectable ringing melodies ringing melodies can be set as constant or varied by every bell push press power supply: 2 x AA (1,5 V) battery, not included.

SETUP

Remove the front panel, covering the appliance.
According to the polarity signs in the battery compartment, place 2 pcs of AA (LR6) batteries into it. If possible use lasting alkaline batteries.
You can check the functionality of the device with the mini pushbutton (3.) located on the right side, above the battery compartment. The desired melody can also be selected by using this button.

The doorbell can be operated in two ways:

By connecting the wire of the bell push to the A1 marked screw pair, the doorbell will play always the same melody set by the above-mentioned button. By connecting it to the A2 marked screw pair with every push of the bell push the next melody in line will be played.

  • Replace batteries, if the volume is decreasing!
  • The battery should be replaced by adults only!
  • Do not use different kinds of batteries and/or used and new batteries together!
  • If the batteries run out, or the device is not used for a prolonged time, remove the batteries immediately!
  • If the liquid has leaked out of them, put on protective gloves and with a dry cloth clean the battery compartment!
  • Do not open the batteries, do not throw them into fi re, or short circuit them!
  • DO not recharge batteries that are not rechargeable! Explosion hazard!
  • Do not place accumulators instead of batteries, because their voltage and performance is notably lower!
  • In cold temperatures, the performance of the batteries will diminish, and more frequent battery changes may be necessary!

INSTALLING THE APPLIANCE

  • By using the special recessed part on the back cover of the device, it can be safely hung.
  • Fixing the bottom part can be done by leading a screw through the opening located under the battery compartment.
  • The wire pair leading to the bell push needs to be led through the circle-shaped opening on the back of the doorbell.
  • After connecting it, and fi xing the doorbell on a wall the front cover can be put back in its place.

CLEANING
Use a soft, dry cloth. Do not use aggressive cleaners and liquids!

WARNINGS

  • Place and fix the product in a safe place!
  • The appliance is operated by DC voltage, it cannot be connected to traditional doorbell transformers!
  • Protect it from dust, humidity, liquids, dampness, frost, shock, and direct thermal radiation or sunshine!
  • Do not attempt to disassemble or modify the unit or its accessories, because it can cause fire, accident or electric shock! Improper installation or operation voids the guarantee.
  • Due to continuous improvements, the design and specifications may change without any prior notice.
  • We don’t take the responsibility for printing errors and we apologize for them if there’s any.

DISPOSAL

Waste equipment must not be collected separately or disposed of with household waste because it may contain components hazardous to the environment or health. Used or waste equipment may be dropped off free of charge at the point of sale, or at any distributor which sells equipment of identical nature and function. Dispose of product at a facility specializing in the collection of electronic waste. By doing so, you will protect the environment as well as the health of others and yourself. If you have any questions, contact the local waste management organization. We shall undertake the tasks pertinent to the manufacturer as prescribed in the relevant regulations and shall bear any associated costs arising.

DISPOSING OF ALKALINE AND RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES

Batteries, whether alkaline or rechargeable, must not be handled together with regular household waste. It is the legal obligation of the product’s user to dispose of batteries at a nearby collection center or at a retail shop. This ensures that the batteries are ultimately neutralized in an environment- friendly way.
