Instructions

of your purchase, please take the time to read these instructions before use.
This Product supports the latest USB-C Power delivery {PD) charging standard
to allow high-power USB-C devices such as Ultrabook, Chromebook, MacBook
Air/Pro, tablets & phones to be charged at up to 30W or just can easily charge
USB-C enabled devices to up to 20W.
This charger also allows you to simultaneously charge up to two USB devices
through USB-C ports. USB-C Power Delivery is a new, multi-voltage charging
standard that dynamically negotiates power output over a USB-C connection
allowing you to recharge a wide range of compatible devices safely and
efficiently from a single charger.
Using the Charger
(Refer to the images on the previous pages)
- Plug the wall charger into a power outlet.
- Connect your Ultrabook, Chromebook, MacBook, tablet, phone or other high-powered devices such as the game console to the USB-C outlet. This outlet will charge devices at up to 30W.
- Use a USB-C SA-rated cable to ensure the Tablet or smartphone charges at the fastest speeds available.
- Connect lower-powered USB-C devices such as phones to the USB-C outlet. The second USB-C port will charge devices at up to 20W.
- Unplugging your devices when they have finished charging is recommended to prolong the life of the batteries.
Note
The USB-C port can charge devices at up to 30W when used on its own. When both ports are in use the maximum output available is reduced to 20W. Any device plugged into the top USB-C Port can be charged at up to 20W when any device is plugged into the bottom USB-C port for charging then the USB-C port downgrades to 20W giving the total output of 40W across both the USB-C ports

Devices charges slowly

Ensure you connect high powered devices such as Tablets and smartphones to the top USB-C port. This port is designed for high power charging and provides more power than the USB-C port below it.
Ensure you use a USB-C cable rated at 3A or above when charging. Most USB-C cables support charging at up to 3A (60W), but some only support lower charging currents and will not allow some tablets to charge at full speed.
