OPERATING MANUAL EN

Before using the product, please read the following instructions carefully and keep them for future use. When transferring the product to a third party, it is advisable to include the instructions with the product

1. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

  1. The inverter is a precision device. Do not drop it, hit it, crush it or subject it to any shock. Do not force the fuses. This may cause damage to the device or short circuit.
  2. The device is not dustproof or waterproof. Store in a dry, cool and ventilated place. Do not expose to water or other sources of moisture.
  3. Do not expose to high temperatures
  4. Do not use near flammable materials and solvents. Keep away from corrosive gas and electromagnetic interference.
  5. Do not repair or disassemble the product yourself. If there are problems with the device, take it to an authorized service center.
  6. Do not use the inverter too close to objects. The device should have about 6cm of empty space around it. Do not cover the ventilation holes. Do not put metal parts into the inverter. Do not touch electrical parts with conductive materials.
  7. For use by adults.
  8. The operating temperature range of the inverter is -10°C~40°C. Please do not keep the inverter in a place with temperature above 40°C at full load. If the inverter operates in a place with temperature above 40°C, reduce the power by 10% with each 1oC exceeded.
  9. Dispose of the used equipment according to the guidelines of the manual.

2. USAGE

  1. Turn the power button in „OFF“.
  2. Connect direct current input cable to the polarity of battery.
  3. Connect the other side of cable to the right slot in the inverter.
  4.  Make sure the plugs of inventer and battery are connected in proper way.
  5. Please turn on the inverter. When LED light shows green, it means inverter is working fine. The correct connection of inverter shows following chart.

3. NOTES FOR USE!

  • Make sure the loads power increase gradually and do not go over rated power of inverter.
  • Do not use alternation current output to connect power grid or would cause inverter damaged.
  • Be careful not to short the wires when connecting the battery.
  • Please choose suitable battery with corresponding inverter model. Otherwise, the inverter may not work properly or may be damaged.
  • Under no circumstances do not connect the inverter to non–original, self–assembled batteries.
  • Do not use inverter to connect to discharged battery or would cause inverter damaged.

Maintenance

  • Regularly check the safety of cables.
  • Cleaning fans and checking running regularly.
  • Use a dry and soft cloth to clean the unit. Do not clean with water. Do not use strong detergents such as thinner, benzine or alcohol as they may damage the protective coatings.

4. SPECIFICATION

5. INVERTER OPERATION AND BATTERY CAPACITY

Low battery capacity may cause the inverter to be unable to operate at full load. This may cause damage to the battery.

The storage battery capacity depends on maximum discharge current:

Maximum discharge current = rated power/ (storage voltage*0.85)

Storage battery capacity = maximum discharge current * discharging time

Example:

Inverter of rated power: 300W; input voltage: 12V

Maximum discharge current = 300/(12*0.85) = 29 A

For 2 hours of work, storage battery capacity is: 29A * 2h = 59Ah

The battery should have more than 59Ah.

Maximum discharge current for 500W = 49A

For 2 hours of work, storage battery capacity is: 98Ah

The battery should have more than 98Ah

Maximum discharge current for 1000W = 98A

For 2 hours of work, storage battery capacity is: 196Ah

The battery should have more than 196Ah

5. WASTE MANAGEMENT

The crossed–out trashcan symbol means that waste electrical and electronic equipment, batteries and packagings must not be placed with other household waste. They must be handed over to a separate waste collection system.

6. WARRANTY

Newell products are covered by a 40–month manufacturer’s warranty.
