WARNING
- Do not open the cover. No user-serviceable parts inside. Refer servicing to qualified service personnel
- Do not place the product in a location near a heat source such as a radiator, or in an area subject to direct sunlight, excessive dust, mechanical vibration, or shock
- The product must not be exposed to dripping or splashing and no objects filled with liquids, such as vases, shall be placed on the product
- No naked flame sources, such as lighted candles, should be placed on the product
- Allow adequate air circulation and avoid obstructing vents (if present) to prevent internal heat build-up.
- The ventilation must not be impeded by covering the appliance with items such as newspapers, tablecloths, curtains, etc.
- The mains plug is used to disconnect the appliance from the mains supply. Ensure that the mains outlet is easily-accessible and remove the plug from the mains outlet if you notice any abnormality with the appliance.

POWER / SIGNAL / LIMIT:
Use the LED signifiers to assess the current status of the Modular Column at a glance. -
THRU OUTPUT
Use these outputs to send the signal from the Modular Column to an external PA system. -
INPUT
Use these inputs to accept signal into the Modular Column from an external PA system. -
DSP PRESET
The DSP knob allows you to choose from one of three presets. (See the DSP information sheet on page 10)- Monitor

SAT VOL
Adjust this knob for independent control over the satellite speakers. -
SUB VOL
Adjust this knob for independent control over the subwoofer. -
SUB OUT
Use this output to physically link the two subs together. -
VOLTAGE ADJUSTER
Use this to switch between 115V and 230V. Please ensure the setting matches your local supply before switching on the unit. -
MAIN POWER INPUT
Use the supplied mains cable to provide power to the unit via a mains socket. Please note only use the same type of fuse that comes installed from the factory -
POWER ON/OFF
Use this to turn the unit on and off.

Use this output to connect to further slave subs. -
LINE IN
Use this input to connect to the SUB OUT on the Master sub. -

VOL
Adjust this knob to control the overall volume of the slave subwoofer. -
VOLTAGE ADJUSTER
Use this to switch between 115V and 230V. Please ensure the setting matches your local supply before switching on the unit. -

TRUE WIRELESS STEREO TWS
When engaged, the True Wireless Stereo function on the M1 column PA System allows you to wirelessly pair with a second M1 column PA system.
- Turn on the Bluetooth function on both speakers.
- Press the TWS button on the LEFT speaker, then on the RIGHT speaker.
- When the TWS LED on the LEFT speaker is flashing, and the TWS LED on the RIGHT speaker is solid, the speakers are connected.
You’ll find that the master sub-units of each PA are wirelessly linked together with the left signal channel coming from the left column PA and the right signal channel coming from the right column PA. This technology provides you with the full power of a true stereo PA, without the need for cables to link the units together.

DIGITAL SIGNAL PROCESSING (DSP) PRESETS
The SZ-HICAST-M1 includes built-in presets, so you get the optimum sound for your venue. Advanced Digital Signal Processing (DSP) gives you clarity to suit speech, brightness to suit the music, and bass boost for parties.
Each of the three presets has been carefully fine-tuned by professional audio engineers and is easily selected at the touch of a button. We’ve taken care of the technology, so you can concentrate on making your event the best it can be.

MONITOR
A crisp and clear sound, which aids clarity in presentations and other speech situations.

DJ
Boosts the bass to help drive dance music and enhance your party’s atmosphere. Ideal for larger venues.
