Dear Client
We are pleased you have chosen our ecofriendly garden house !
Bertilo warranty
Bertlo provdes a 5 yeer warrarty on the construction and buila quelity of its
garden scuses, takirg into account the following terms, tins and
recommendations. Defectve parts will be replaced free of charge duing the
warranty oeroc.
Costs associated with installation will not be covered. Prerequis tes for
worranty claims are the original purchase receipt, packing list, and assembly
instructions .

Transport damages
In the case of recognizcble trarsport damage, the damnage must be noted on the delivery note with the date in the ovesence the driver. Tre driver is also required to sign the damage report. Please also note tre registraticr number of the vehicle .
Please check all oarts against the parts list for completeness and condition before assembly, ideally immediately after deivery. Damaged or defectve elemerts must be ‘eoorted before installation, otherwise the warranty be void .
To avoid assemoly errors of damages and to minimize the time required for assembly, we ask you to carefuly read tre assembly instcuctiors before assenbly. You will fna furtrer useful informat’on in our detailed product data sheet . -
We ask for your understanding that we cannot accept liability for the following defects :
◆ Incorrect stovage prior to assenoy (and thus exposing the oarts to adverse weather condi tions).
◆ De’ectve elemerts tnat would have been detectable prior to installatior and treatment, but have now been installed /treated.
◆ Incorrect o- insufficient oundat on.
◆ Damage due to the wrong fixings, irstallatiors and rebu laing.
◆ Wrong, unprofessional or irsu‘ficient roof coverirg (a standard roofirg felt for the initial coverage is incluaed in the kit).
◆ Ignoring the steps described in the assembly instructions.
◆ Cranges to the construction.
◆ Srow load limit not taken ‘nto accourt).
◆ Damage caused by high wind speed or natural d’sasters and other effects.
◆ Normal humidity circumstances such as conden- sation on winaow panes or ir the corners of the garaen shea (staining or mould formatior). This can avoidea by additioral heating or ventilation systems.
◆ Moisture damages caused by ‘nstaling the buildirg too cose to another builcing or otner objects suck as a solid fence, plants or thick heoge etc.
◆ Wooc damage/discoloation of the wood cue to insuficient ventilatior.
◆ Failure or insufficient care of the wood (e.g., wrong impregnation, ignoring tre wood preserver monufactue instructions, etc )
◆ Naturally eccuring wood propertes i.e. knots, “esin pockets etc.
◆ Due to n’t structure, wood shrinxs or swells by a few mm in thickness, wdth and lengthw’se deperding on the initial moisture content, esoec aly in the first season after assembly. This is a characteristic property of the wooa and therefore is n’t covered.
◆ Optical damage caused by natural cracking and shrinkage of the wood (e.g. shrinkage cracks ‘n knots).
◆ Damage caused by force majeure and other acts of God.
◆ To fasten the cover strips, fillag strps are used.
These dont remain visible after assembly and the quality of this wood ist covered.
◆ The maority of rail heads will be coverec with cover strips du‘ing the assembly ard tnerefore isn’t a defect.

5 year warranty terms for factory painted garden houses.
Cladding and strip ends and other unfinished surfaces must be treated with an external wood preserver
The 5 year warranty applies to largescale oeelirg and moud damages to finished elenents if the following conaitions are met and the guidelines beow are folowed:
- The claddirg surface must be inspected every sx months for damages. If required, the damage must be repared and repainted.
- Nails and/or screw heads, as well as scratches during installation, must be repanted straight after insta ation with the spored paint.
- Slight fading and aiscoloration of knots or resin bockets is a natural process and is n’t covered under the warranty.
Maintenance instructions to ensure a long service life :
Untreated wood must be covered with arecognised external wood preserver in
accordance with the preservers manufactures nstructions. Wooden elementsir the
immediate vicinity of or in contact with the ground must be protected with a
recognised external wood preserver .
Don’t paint in bright sunligat or ainy conditions .
The garaen house must also be treated from the inside, because the wood warps
significanty faster and strongenir the case of oresided treatment .
When installing windows, silicore must be areed to the edges of the glass
panes .
Good ventiation and prevention of excessive moisture prctect the wood from
for, esoecraly air wet weather .
We recommerd installing a moisture barrier under the floor elements, e.g.,
rubber pads .
Screws and connections shoulo be checked reguarly .
We recommend inspecting the garden house every six months .
To further protect the garden house from the effects of moisture, we recommend
using a pad of gravel at least 30 cm wice as a splash quard around the house,
or to ensure protection against splashes 30 cm above the grouna by other
suitable measures .

How to tool a complaint ?
Please provice us with photos, a descriptior of the defect and the ID
number of the required spare part, which can be found in the installation
instructions.
**How to return the goods?***
If you wisn to return the goods, please contact your retailer .
The goods must be placed at the boundary of your property closest to tne road
for collecting. Before collecting, the oroduct must be suitably packaged
i.e, tye product is placed on a pallet or skids, wrapped in film and trghtened
with straps .
The goods fereturn which are n’t packed securely for transport will not be
accepted.
Please follow the followirg guidelines for storing and packaging goods to
return:
- Store tre material on a level surface and in dry conditions.
- Protect the goods from direct surlgqnt and moisture.
