Good Earth IN_AC1347-CCT-07LF0-G LED USB Tape Light
Product Information
The 7 ft LED USB Tape Light CCT w/ IR Remote is a non-curable and non-linkable tape light that can be connected to televisions, laptop computers, or electrical outlets with a USB power adapter (not included). The tape light comes with a hardware kit, CT controller, receptor IR (Infrarrojo), and safety glasses. The LED tape light is intended for indoor locations only, and it is not expandable. Additional LED tape light lengths cannot be added. The tape light must be fully uncoiled for proper operation and to prevent overheating. The tape light should not be installed over sinks or stoves and is not intended for recessed installation in ceilings or soffits. Additionally, cords should not be run behind walls, ceilings, soffits, cabinets, or any similar permanent structure where it may be inaccessible for examination. It is recommended to use insulated staples or plastic ties to secure the cords and to avoid using an extension cord. A power strip with integral over current protection should be used to supply power to the fixture. The LED tape light gradually emits less light over its lifetime, and it should not be used with a dimming circuit. If dimmer controls are present, they should be removed and replaced.
Product Usage Instructions
- Before first use, orient the label side of the IR receiver with the LED side of the tape. The red arrow should match with the +5V on the LED side of the tape.
- Select a location for the LED tape light and mark it. Verify that the USB cord reaches the nearest USB port. Thoroughly clean the mounting surface with rubbing alcohol and allow it to dry. Remove the backing liner carefully so as to not accidentally peel away the mounting glue of the LED tape light. Place the LED tape light in the desired position. Once in place, allow the tape adhesive to cure for 24 hours before use.
- Once the LED tape lights are firmly in place, plug the USB connector into a television, computer laptop, or USB adaptor.
It is important to read the entire manual prior to installation, and no parts are serviceable on this product. The LED tape lightsare non-cutable and non- linkable, and they should not be altered or touched while in contact with water. This product is not intended for illumination of aquariums.
