FOREWORD
PNI SafeHouse HS260 is a smoke detector with an integrated photoelectric cell, which has the ability to detect smoke from the beginning of a fire event. In such situations, the detector triggers an audible and luminous alarm and transmits, in the same time, a wireless alarm signal to the alarm system.
PNI SafeHouse HS260 can operate independently (stand-alone) or connected to analarm system such as PNI SafeHouse HS550, PNI SafeHouse HS650.

PRODUCT PRESENTATION AND INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Smoke detector installation
We recommend installing the smoke detector with screws. Installing with adhesive tape can be another alternative. To remove the smoke detector from the mounting bracket, turn it counterclockwise. First, fix the mounting bracket to the wall with screws or adhesive tape. Mount the smoke detector back on the mounting bracket, turning it clockwise.
Note : The detector cannot be mounted on a bracket without a battery due to a protection system.
Safety warnings
- The product is designed for indoor use only.
- The smoke detector must be more than 50 cm away from the lighting device.
- Do not install the smoke detector in bathrooms or places with high humidity.
- • Do not install the smoke detector in places with permanent smoke.
- Do not install the smoke detector in spaces with temperatures below 0°C or above + 50°C.
- The detector must be more than 60 cm away from other objects (furniture, for example).
- Keep a distance of more than 150 cm between the detector and the ventilation fan, the air conditioner and the vents.
- Before mounting the detector with double-sided tape, thoroughly clean the surface of the detector of dust and dirt.
SOUND ALARM, TEST, PAIRING
Stop the audible alarm: In the alarm state, press the TEST button on the device to stop the audible alarm. The LED continues to flash during the alarm. Testing: In the normal operating state, press the TEST button to check the operation of the audible and light alarm and to send the alarm signal to the alarm control panel.
Pairing : access the Add sensor menu in the alarm system you want to pair the smoke detector with. Switch the alarm system to pairing mode and press the TEST button on the detector to send the wireless signal to the alarm system. Test whether the two devices have been successfully paired.
MAINTENANCE
- Check the correct operation of the smoke detector weekly by pressing the TEST button.
- The battery has a lifespan of about 1 year, but can be shortened under certain conditions such as too low or too high temperature and high humidity.
- Make sure the detector works properly before installation.
- When the smoke detector warns that the battery is discharged, replace it with a new one with the same specifications as the original one.
