Thank you for purchasing an SJICAM action camera. Please read this Quick Start
Guide thoroughly before using it. For a more detailed instruction manual with

Safety Warnings
- While this is an action camera, care must be taken to keep it working properly.
- Do not expose the unit to strong magnetic fields, such as magnets, electrical motors, and machinery that use strong electromagnetic or radio waves.
- Do not leave your $J6 Legend in hot environments or under direct sunlight for long periods.
- All electronic equipment generate heat during operation. If the camera’s body is too hot to touch, tum the unit off and let it cool down before using it again.
- Choose a branded microSD card to avoid performance issues. Non-branded cards may cause erratic camera behavior.
- Do not place your microSD cards near strong magnetic fields to avoid data loss.
- Always remove the battery when using the camera as a dashcam to avoid overcharging,
- Always avoid extended periods of battery charging. Keep it away from children and pets while charging to avoid accidents.
- Store the camera in a cool, dry, and dust-free place.
**** Your battery and camera can only be disposed of in recycling facilities.
Please look for recycling drop off points when you need to throw it away.

User instructions

Inserting a microSD card
Insert the card all the way in, with the label facing the front of the camera, until it clicks into place. Only use a branded microSD card and format it on a computer prior to use. Non-branded cards may cause erratic camera performance. -
Installing and removing battery
A. Push the battery cover tab to open it.
B. Install battery into camera as indicated by +/- symbols and direction of arrows marked on battery and push it all the way in.
C. Battery charge indicator: please refer to pictures.
D, Remove Battery: open cover to take battery out, -
Charging
A. Charging can be done by connecting the camera to a computer, or using a power adaptor or a car charger.
B. S]6 LEGEND cameras can record video while charging (select Car Mode in Menu)
C. SJ6 LEGEND AIR can be charged even when it is powered off. -
Switching camera on and off
A. Press and hold power button for 3 to 5 seconds to tum it on / off. -
Car camera mode
A. Go to the video menu and select car mode to record.
B. Camera will switch on automatically when the car starts, in case it is connected to the car charger. -
Video recording mode
Switch to recording made and an icon followed by the remaining recording time, will appear on the upper left corner of the screen. Press OK to start recording and the Camera icon in the upper left corner will flash from 00:00:00. Press “OK” again if you want to stop. -
Photo shooting mode
Switch the camera on and select “Photo shooting Mode”.An icon will appear on the upper left corner of the screen and the camera indicating that photo shooting mode is set. Press OK’ to take photos. -
File transfer and Media playback
A. Use a USB cable or card reader to transfer files from the camera to a computer.
B. Switch the camera on and press **** icon to play back the files. -
WIFI connection: SJ6 LEGEND
To connect the camera to a mobile phone or tablet (Android or iOS system) via WiFi, follow the steps below:
A. Install the APP SJCAM Zone software on your mobile phone or tablet. Use Google Play for android devices or App store for Apple devices.
B. After powering on, swipe down from the top of the screen , and the Wi-fi icon will be displayed.
C. Enable Wi-fi on your mobile device, search Wi-fi SJ6 LEGEND AIR and connect it.The initial password is 12345678.
D.When connected, “Wi-fi Connection Ready” will display on the screen.
E.Videos and images will be directly displayed on your app.
