User Guide
Please read the user guide carefully before using the camera for the first
time.
Safety Guidelines
- Do not place this product near objects with strong magnetic fields, such as magnets or motors, etc. Also, avoid placing this product near objects that emit strong radio waves to avoid malfunctions that may be caused by strong magnetic fields and radio waves.
- Please choose the regular brand of Micro SD card.
- Do not place the Micro SD card near objects with strong magnetic fields to avoid data loss.

Remote control instructions
- Power button: Turn off the camera
- Photo button: take photos
- WiFi button: turn on/off camera WiFi
- Video button: Start/stop recording
Note: Remote control is not a standard accessory, needs to be purchased separately
After powering on the camera into the preview screen, slide down from the top (Fig 1), click on the remote control icon to select the remote control matching, the camera enters the remote control matching interface (Fig2), and then press the remote control video button and the photo button at the same time, after the successful matching, the camera will show that the pairing is complete (Fig 3), and then click on the screen of the camera, you can operate the camera through the remote control.
App Download
- Scan the QR code on your smartphone or search for “SJCAM ZONE” in the App Store or Google Play to download and install the App.
WIFI Connection

Slide the screen from top to bottom, click the WiFi icon to turn on the camera WiFi,
the QR code will be displayed on the camera screen. -
Open the downloaded APP on your phone, and click “Connect Camera➔ Scan Code to Connect”, after scanning the QR code on the camera, your phone will enter the APP
preview interface (different smartphone systems may have slight differences). -
After a successful connection, you can take photos, and videos, change settings, and other operations on the App page.
Operation Guide
Micro SD card installation
Press and hold the button and slide the entire cover down to open the Micro SD
card port, insert the card into the slot as shown (pay attention to the
direction of the memory card) and gently press inward until you hear a
clicking sound.
Recording
Power on the camera to enter the recording mode, short-press the OK button to
record, short press it once again to stop.
(The icon turns red during recording and records the duration of the video,
the blue light next to the OK button blinks.)
Note: After setting the camera mode, there is a memory function when the camera is turned off and on again, the camera will remember the mode before it is turned off.
Photo
After the camera is turned on, click the icon at the bottom of the screen or slide the screen (as shown below) to enter the mode interface, slide the screen to the left/right to select the photo icon to enter the photo mode, and then press the OK button to take photos.
Playback
When the camera is turned on, slide down the screen, click the playback icon
to enter the playback mode, select the video/photo you want to playback, and
then press OK to browse.
Car Mode
After the camera is turned on, click the icon at the bottom of the screen or
slide the screen up to enter the mode interface, slide the screen to the
left/right to select the Car Mode icon and click it to enter the Car Mode.
Note: 1. if you need to install the camera upside down when using the
car mode, you need to turn on the rotation In the system settings.
After connecting the car power adapter, the camera can automatically turn on and record when you start your car, and will automatically stop recording and turn off the camera after disconnecting the power for about 5 seconds.
Charging
A power adapter or car charger can charge the camera, when charging the
device’s red light is on, when full the device’s red light is off.
Note: Please choose SVlA, 5V2A output power adapter.

A. In the video preview interface, click the mode setting icon at the
bottom of the screen, slide the screen to select the option you need to set,
and click to confirm the selection.
