Button Instruction

Power on/off: Long press for 3 seconds.
Network distribution button: Press twice In succession (under the power- on state).

Bind the Camera

Press the power button on top of the camera twice in succession (picture 1), after hearing the beep, make sure that the status indicator light flashes slowly in red, open the “SCAM Guard” app, and click “Add Device” on the APP homepage (picture 2), follow the guide steps in the APP to bind the device.

OTA Upgrade for the Camera
Open the “SJCAM Guard” APP, click the “Settings” icon in the device list on the APP homepage (picture 1) , and then click “Device Information” (picture 2) , the camera firmware upgrade can be detected in the “Device Information” (picture 3) .

Unbind the Camera

Open the “SJCAM Guard” APP, click the “Settings” icon in the device list on the APP homepage (picture 1) , then slide down to find “Delete Device” (picture 2) , and then click “Delete Device” to unbind.

Share Camera with Friends

Open the “SJCAM Guard” APP, click the “Share” icon (picture 1) in the device list on the APP homepage, select the corresponding permissions (picture 2) , and fill in the friends’ accounts to share with your friends (picture 3)

Note: Your friends must register an account in the “SCAM Guard” APP.

Playback Video

Open the “SCAM Guard” APP, click the “Playback” icon (picture 1) in the device list on the APP homepage or switch to the video fragment in the “Events” (picture 2) to blav (picture 3)

Note: The Installation wall must be able to bear 4 times the total weight of the camera.

Note: Please use INR 21700 3.7V 17.76 Wh rechargeable battery.

Battery Disassemble

• Use the disassembled stick or disassemble slice to gently pry open the edge of the back cover;
• Please use a 1.6mm cross screwdriver to remove the 6 screws of the battery cover and then gently loosen them and take the battery out.
• The battery can be removed after the battery cover is taken off.

Battery Replacement

• Before replacing the battery, make sure that consistent the positive and negative poles of the battery
• The positive pole corresponds to the positive pole of the battery compartment, and the negative pole corresponds to the negative pole of the battery compartment After confirming that it is correct then put the battery into the battery compartment.
• After replacing the battery, confirm whether the machine can be turned on normally, after confirming it can be turned on normally then close the battery cover and lock the screws.

Remarks

1. To replace the battery, make sure that the positive and negative poles of the battery correspond to the positive and negative poles of the battery compartment.
2. The screws must be tightened after closing the battery cover,or if not it will affect the waterproof performance of the camera.
3. After the battery cover is removed, it should be placed in a clean area to ensure that it will not be stuck with other substances; other substances on the battery cover will affect the waterproof performance of the camera.

Troubleshooting

1. The camera cannot be turned on.
   It may be that the battery is low, please use the SV 2A power adapter to charge the camera
   until it is fully charged.

2. The camera has no response when charging.
   It may be that the battery has entered protection. Connect the camera to the power
   adapter, charge it for 30 seconds, disconnect the power, and repeat the operation 3 times;
   the battery can be activated.

3. No cloud storage?
   S1 does not support cloud storage, save the video on the memory card.

4. Unable to connect

   • Check if your WIFI name and password are correct
   • Make sure your WI Fl is 2.4G, not 5G
   • Make sure your camera and mobile phone are close to the router

5. How to replace the new Wi-Fi

   • If the camera is online, open the “SJCAM Guard” APP, click the “Settings” icon in the
     device list on the APP homepage, and then click “Device Wi-Fi”, select a new Wi-Fi name and
     password to replace Wi-Fi

   • If the camera is not online, you can reset the camera and re-bind

6. No notification be pushed

   • Make sure the camera “Notification push” is turned on
   • Please enable the “SJCAM Guard” APP notification authority in the phone settings
