Function Keys Overview

Power Button| Single press| Standby status, single press to call out the mode menu.

Touch Gestures

Click:

  • Standby: Show/hide the status bar.
  • Menu state: Open/select the corresponding settings.

Slide Left & Right:

  • Standby state: Switch the shooting mode.
  • Playback: Page turning.

Slide Down:

  • Standby state: Turn on Wi-Fi/Remote/Lock screen/Power off/Shortcut/Menu state.
  • Menu state: Sliding options box.

Slide Up:

  • Standby state: Turn on mode menu.
  • Menu state: Sliding options box.

Basic operation

Power On/Off

  • To Power On: Long press the power button for 2 seconds to boot into the standby interface.
  • To Power Off: Long press the power button.

Mode Switch

  • Switching Modes: Standby Mode: Swipe up the screen or click the “icon to call out the mode menu, slide up and down to browse. Select the desired shooting mode icon and click to enter this mode.

Infrared Night Vision Light

  • Auto Mode: The equipment will automatically turn on/off the infrared night vision light based on light & dark conditions.
  • Manual Setting: Single press the button to manually turn on/off the infrared mode.

Laser Light

  • In standby state or recording state, single press the power button to turn on/off the laser light.

Video Lock

  • While recording, single press the power button to lock the video. A “O” icon will appear on the screen, indicating that the video is locked and cannot be deleted with the device. You can only delete it by formatting the card or connecting it to a computer.

Shooting mode

Recording Mode

  • Switch to recording mode by single pressing the shooting button.
  • When you see red dots flashing on the screen, the camera is recording.
  • Re-click the shooting button to stop recording.

Photo Mode

  • Switch to photo mode by single pressing the shooting button.
  • You will hear a “click” sound indicating a photo has been taken and saved.

Burst Mode

  • Switch to burst mode by single pressing the shooting button.
  • You will hear several “click” sounds, and the camera will continuously take photos.

Voice Recording Mode

  • Switch to voice recording mode by single pressing the shooting button.
  • The microphone icon on the screen will turn red, indicating that voice recording is active.
  • Re-click the shooting button to stop voice recording.

Playback

  • Select the Playback in Menu settings to enter the playback interface for photos and videos.
  • View photos/videos: Use buttons/touching gestures to view the selected file at the playback interface.
  • View voice recording: Single press the power button (in Voice recording mode) to enter playback, use buttons/touching gestures to play the selected file.

Video Lapse

  • Switch to Video Lapse by single pressing the shooting button.
  • Red dots will flash on the screen, indicating that video recording is in progress.
  • Re-click the shooting button to stop recording.

Car Mode

  • Switch to Car Mode and turn it on before powering off.
  • The device will automatically power on and start recording when connected to the charger.

Click the “icon or slide upwards at standby state to call out the mode menu, then slide to the “icon to enter the menu interface.
You can also set the model parameters by entering the Settings menu in different shooting modes.
Setting Parameters:

  • Slide to select the parameter options that need modification.
  • Click and choose the appropriate parameters.
  • Click the Return key to go back to the standby interface after setting is complete.

Video Resolution

  • Options: “1080P 30fps, 720P 30fps, WVGA 30fps, VGA 640*480”.
  • Larger values mean higher resolution, larger file size, and shorter recording time with the same storage and electricity.
  • Smaller values have the opposite effect.

Photo Size

  • Options: “12M, 10M, 8M, 5M, 3M”.
  • Larger values mean higher resolution and larger file size.
  • Smaller values have the opposite effect.

`Voice Recording Time

  • Options: “3 minutes, 5 minutes, and 10 minutes “.
  • Different options result in different voice recording durations.

Burst Mode

  • Burst mode includes two options – “3 photos and 5 photos”.
  • Single press the shooting button to capture multiple photos in quick succession.

Video Lapse

  • Video lapse includes six options – “1 second, 2 second, 5 second, 10 second, 30 second, 1 minute”.
  • Choose different time intervals to create time-lapse videos

Loop Recording

  • Loop Recording includes four options – “Off, 3 minutes, 5 minutes, 10 minutes “.
  • If selected, the device will continuously record video in segments until the memory card is full, overwriting the oldest segments.

Motion Detection

  • Motion detection includes two options – “Off, On”.
  • When the device is placed stationary and powered on for video recording, it will be in recording standby mode if there are no moving objects in front of the lens.
    It will automatically start recording when it detects motion and stop recording when the motion ceases.

Date

  • Turn on/off the shooting time watermark.

WDR (Wide Dynamic Range)

  • Turn on/off the WDR feature.

Photo Lapse

  • Photo lapse includes five options – “Off, 3 second, 5 second, 10 second, 20 second “.
  • Turn on and press the shooting button; the device will automatically take photos at certain intervals in photo mode. Re-press the shooting button to stop.

Image Quality

  • Image quality includes three options – “Fine, Standard, Economy”.

ISO

  • ISO (sensitivity) includes seven options – “Auto, 100, 200, 400, 800, 1600, 3200”.

Language

  • Set the language of the device.

Date/Time

  • Set the time. The device will automatically update the date/time when connected to Wi-Fi and the app.

Format

  • Clears all storage files. It’s recommended to export files in advance.

Fast Record

  • When turned on, the camera will start recording automatically when switching to Record mode from any status, including power on.

Auto Power Off

  • Auto Power Off includes four options – “Off, 3 minutes, 5 minutes, 10 minutes “.
    The device will power off automatically if there’s no operation after power on.

Keypad Tone

  • Choose the sound volume of the camera button output. Options are “On, Off”.

Screensaver

  • Screensaver has five options – “30 second, 1 minutes, 3 minutes, 5 minutes, Off”.
    The device will automatically enter sleep mode and turn off the screen after no operation after power on.

Frequency

  • Choose between “50Hz, 60Hz” based on the region and requirement.

LOGO

  •  Turn on/off the logo watermark.

Device ID

  • Change the device ID.

Wi-Fi

  • Change the Wi-Fi SSID and password.

Default

  • Select this option to set all settings to default.

Firmware Version

  • Check the current version information of the device.

Micro SD Card

To capture videos/photos, you need to use a micro SD card that meets the specified requirements. If the storage on the card is used up during recording, the camera will stop recording, and a message indicating that the memory card is full will appear on the screen.
Caution:

  • Handle the memory card with care, avoiding exposure to liquid, dust, and friction.
  • Power off the camera before inserting or removing the card for safety.
  • Ensure the memory card is used within the recommended temperature range, as per the manufacturer’s instructions.

Inserting the Micro SD Card

  • Slide to open the battery cover.
  • Insert the micro SD card with the label side facing towards the battery direction.
  • Close the battery cover.

Caution: To remove the card, press it with your fingernail and it will pop up.

Reformatting the Micro SD Card

  • For optimal performance, it’s recommended to format the card before initial use and periodically thereafter.
    Note: Reformatting the card will permanently erase all stored files. Please ensure to export photos and videos in advance to prevent data loss.

To reformat the card:

  • Slide upwards and click “Settings.”
  • Select “Format” and confirm by clicking “OK.”
