Function Keys Overview

Power Button| Short Press| In Photo mode, a short press captures a photo.

In Video mode, a short press starts or stops recording.
In Settings, short-press once for OK.
Long Press| Long-press for 2 seconds to power on/off.
LED Light Button| Short Press| In standby mode, a short press of the button controls the LED, offering three settings. The first press activates the strong light, the second press activates the normal light, and the third press turns off the LED.
Long Press| Press and hold for 2 seconds to initiate data transmission (indicated by red and blue lights).
Type- C| Connect| The button also serves as the data transmission and charging interface.

Touch Gestures

Click:

  • Standby Mode: Activate/hide the status bar.
  • Menu Mode: Activate/select relevant settings.

Left/Right Swipe:

  • Standby Mode: Switch shooting modes.
  • Playback Mode: Swipe to navigate pages.

Swipe Down:

  • Standby Mode: Open Wi-Fi, activate LED blue light burst, remote control, lock screen.
  • Swipe in Menu Mode: Open the options box.

Swipe Up:

  • Standby Mode: Open mode.
  • Menu Mode: Swipe the option box.

Basic operation

Power On/Off

  • To Power On: Long press the power button for 2 seconds to boot into the standby interface.
  • To Power Off: Long press the power button.

Mode Switch

  • Standby Mode: Swipe up the screen or click the “icon to call out the mode menu, slide up and down to browse. Select the desired shooting mode icon and click to enter this mode.

LED Lights On/Off

  • Standby Mode: Short press this button to turn the LED On/Off. Short press the first time for the strong light, the second time for the normal light, and the third time to turn it off.

Shooting mode

  • Video Recording Mode
    • Enter Video Recording Mode, and press the Power/Shutter Button once to initiate recording. A flashing red dot on the screen signifies that the camera is actively recording. Press the Power/Shutter Button again to cease recording.
  • Photos Mode
    • Navigate to Photo Mode, and press the Power/Shutter Button once to capture a photo. The audible shutter sound confirms the successful capture and the photo is saved.
  • Burst Mode O
    • Access Burst Mode, press the Power/Shutter Button once to automatically capture a series of pictures rapidly. Multiple shutter sounds indicate the successful capture and saving of the photos.
  • Videolapse Mode
    • Enter Videolapse Mode, short-press the Power/Shutter Button to automatically capture a series of pictures at set intervals and save it as a video. A flashing red dot on the screen indicates active recording. Press the Power/Shutter Button again to stop recording.
  • Car Mode
    • In Car Mode, the camera will power up and commence recording automatically upon detecting external power from the car or another power supply.
  • Settings Menu
    • Swipe to enter the settings menu. You can go into the settings menu while in any mode to configure camera settings.
  • Video Resolution
    • Available resolutions: 2160P 24FPS, 1440P 30FPS, 1080P 60/30FPS, 720P 120/60/30FPS, 480P 240FPS. Higher resolutions result in better image quality at the expense of filesize and battery usage.
  • Photo Resolutions
    • Photo resolutions: 16M, 12M, 10M, 8M, 5M, 3M, and VGA. Higher resolutions result in better image quality at the expense of filesize and battery usage.
  • Burst Mode
    • Burst mode: 3 pictures, 5 pictures, 10 pictures. Activate burst mode, click “shooting”, and it will take several pictures at one time.
  • Videolapse
    • Videolapse: 1 second, 2 seconds, 5 seconds, 10 seconds, 30 seconds, and 1 minute. Select an interval then start recording a video file.
  • Loop Recording
    • Loop recording segment lengths: 3 minutes, 5 minutes, and 10 minutes. When Loop Recording is selected, videos will be saved in short segments. It will also maximize the use of the memory card by recording over the oldest file in the card to allow continuous recording.
  • Date/Time Stamp
    • Enabling the Date/Time Stamp will put a mark on the video for the viewer to see the time, date, and duration of the recorded file.
  • Slow Video Recording
    • After this function is turned on, the real shots of the video are all in slow motion, -2X is 2 times slower, and the highest is 8 times.
  • Logo Watermark
    • You can choose to turn the logo watermark on or off.
  • Photolapse
    • Photolapse interval: 3 seconds, 5 seconds, 10 seconds, and 20 seconds. Press the shutter button to start taking photos in the set interval. Press the shutter button again to stop the photo-taking process.
  • Photo Quality
    • Photo quality options: High quality, Standard quality, and Economy.
  • View Angle
    • It has Wide/Middle/Narrow view angles. The wider the wide angle, the wider the view.
  • Gyro Stabilization
    • Image stabilization function and anti-shake performance are better.
  • Code Stream
    • It has three streams: high/medium/low.
  • White Balance
    • There are six options: Automatic, Daylight, Cloudy, Tungsten, Fluorescent, Underwater. Selecting different modes in different environments will produce a better shooting effect.
  • Colour
    • Five options: normal, black and white, retro, warm tone, cool tone. You can choose a different image colour when shooting.
  • Face Recognition
    • In the photo mode, you can automatically recognize the face and automatically capture the face through the menu settings.
  • Exposure Compensation
    • According to the shooting, too dark can be adjusted up, too bright can be adjusted down.
  • Language Settings
    • Choose the desired language of the device.
  • Date/Time
    • You can manually set the date and time on the device. Setting this is important so that files can have the correct file stamp (EXIF Data). The device will automatically update the date and time after Wi-Fi connection to the APP is enabled.
  • Format
    • Formatting will erase all your stored content. It is strongly recommended that you transfer your files first before doing this.
  • Fast Record
    • The device will automatically start recording when this function is turned on and the camera switches from any state (including power on) to recording mode.
  • Auto Power-Off
    • Auto power-off has four time period options: Off, 3 minutes, 5 minutes, and 10 minutes. Auto power-off means that the device automatically shuts down when there is no active recording and no activity is detected at the given time period.
  • Button Sound
    • Used to select whether or not to use camera sounds when pressing buttons. The menu can be set to On or Off.
  • Screen Saver
    • The screen saver has five time-period options: 30 seconds, 1 minute, 3 minutes, 5 minutes, and Off. The screen saver means that the device automatically turns off the screen and goes to sleep when no operation is detected.
  • Light Source Frequency
    • You can select between two light-source frequencies: 50Hz and 60Hz, depending on your geographic location and/or requirement.
  • Device ID
    • You can change the device ID number.
  • Wi-Fi
    • You can modify the device’s Wi-Fi name and password.
  • Default Settings
    • Selecting this option will reset all settings of the device to their default settings.
  • Version
    • View version information of the current device.

Micro SD Card

To save videos and photos, you need to use a micro SD card. Please use a memory card that meets the required specifications. During the shooting process, if the space on the memory card is completely filled, the action camera will stop recording, and the display will show “Memory Card Full”.
Note: Be careful when handling the memory cards. Avoid contact with liquids, dust, and small debris. For your files’ safety, turn off your action camera before inserting or removing a memory card. Review the memory card manufacturer’s instructions for use within the appropriate temperature range.

Insert the Micro SD Card

  • Remove the battery cover, remove the battery, then insert the micro SD card into the card slot, then insert the battery and place the battery cover back on.

Reformat Micro SD Card

  • Reformatting the micro SD card is essential for optimal performance.
  • It is recommended to format the card before using it for the first time.
  • Additionally, periodic formatting is advised to maintain an organized file system.

Caution: Reformatting will erase all files saved on the memory card. Ensure to back up your photos and videos before proceeding.
To reformat the memory card

  • Scroll up and click on “Settings.”
  • Navigate to “Format” in the menu.
  • Confirm the action by selecting “OK.”
