Remote Control for Apollo Series Conference Video Bar & Switcher

The APO-VX20-UC REMOTE is a Bluetooth remote control designed for the Apollo Series Conference Video Bar & Switcher. It includes various functions such as answering and disconnecting calls, adjusting volume and zoom, toggling between mute and unmute, and switching between Auto Framing, Presenter/Speaker Tracking, or turning off advanced functions. It also allows for pairing with the Apollo VX20 and saving camera views to presets.

Product Usage Instructions

Pairing:

Ensure that the remote is within range of the video bar.
Press and hold the pairing button on the right side of the VX20 for 2 seconds until the status LED blinks blue, indicating that it has entered Bluetooth pairing mode.
On the Bluetooth remote, press and hold the “+” buttons until the red LED flashes. The remote will then automatically pair to the video bar.

Answering and Disconnecting Calls:
When connected to a mobile device via Bluetooth, press the button with the phone icon to answer calls and press it again to disconnect them.

Camera Views:

Press the button with the camera icon to revert back to the default camera view.
Press the button with the ePTZ icon to perform ePTZ functions.
Press and hold the button with the camera icon for 3 seconds to save the current camera view to preset 1 or 2. Single press the button to switch between the camera views.

Volume and Mute:

Press the button with the volume icon to toggle between mute and unmute.
Press and hold the button with the volume icon to adjust the volume continuously.

Auto Framing and Zoom:

Press the button with the target icon to toggle between Auto Framing, Presenter/Speaker Tracking, or turning off advanced functions.
Press the button with the zoom icon to adjust the zoom. Press and hold the button to adjust the zoom continuously.

Note: The ePTZ and preset camera view functions are only available when Tracking mode is turned off. Changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user’s authority to operate the equipment. The adapter should be installed near the equipment and easily accessible.

The VX20 includes a Bluetooth remote. By default, the remote is already paired with the video bar. However, follow the below steps if the remote should need to be re-paired or a replacement remote is acquired.

Press and hold the pairing button on the VX20’s right side for 2 second, the status LED will blink blue, which indicates that the device enters Bluetooth pairing mode.
