FlashO 50-70-071 LoRaWAN Counter Interface for Pulses

Product Information

The Flash’O is an IoT device manufactured by WATTECO. It is a wireless optical sensor that provides readings of energy consumption through the measurement of light flashes from utility meters. The device has a LoRaWAN network connectivity and comes with three internal probes made of ASA/PC material with IP55 protection level. The device has a red LED for switching off and a green LED for association. It is available in two models, namely, 50-70-071 and 50-70-206 with different probe quantities and transmission power levels.

Product Usage Instructions:

To set up the Flash’O device, follow the instructions below:

  1. Unclip the optical sensor base and remove the protective film from the base without dirtying the double-sided tape.
  2. Position the hole in the base concentrically over the flash light to ensure good adhesion of the double-sided tape.
  3. Position the sensor on the baseplate and clip it by turning it on the baseplate until you hear a click sound.
  4. Check the radio coverage with Netw’O and make sure that the sensor is paired to the LoRaWAN network. For 60 seconds, the light flashes with each light flash from the meter.

To open or close the device, hold the device for more than one second or more than five seconds, respectively. When turning off the device, wait for a few seconds for the red LED to switch off. If the green LED flashes for three seconds, it indicates that the device is associating. Wait for this process to complete before proceeding with further actions. The device can be mounted on a wall or a RailDin installation. For more detailed instructions, visit the product’s support website at https://support.watteco.com/.
