Hood Upgrade for Leaf Eater Commercial (PP)

The Hood Upgrade for Leaf Eater Commercial (PP) is designed to upgrade your rain head by eliminating splashing from the mesh screen with its cover. The protective cover ensures you collect 100% of the water flowing through your downpipe and prevents leaves from falling onto the area below. It comes with a Leaf Eater Commercial Screen and Screws for installation.

Usage Instructions

  1. Undo the screws to remove and discard your existing Leaf Eater Commercial rain head screen.
  2. Attach The Hood screen to the Leaf Eater Commercial rain head body, making sure the screen is fully seated all the way around the body. Install the supplied screws around the edge and on the back face.
  3. Ensure your inlet pipe is cut to sit at least 20mm below the top surface of The Hood cover.
  4. Slide the Hood cover up your inlet pipe and fit to the screen,making sure that the skirt around the edge is fully seated in the corresponding channel on the screen.

Maintenance

  1. Slide The Hood cover up your inlet pipe and undo the screws to remove The Hood screen.

  2. With the screen removed, either brush off or wash the debris from the screen.

  3. Reinsert the screen into the Leaf Eater Commercial body, making sure it is fully seated all the way around and flush with the body.
    Secure the screen to the body using the screws.

  4. Reinstall the cover, making sure that the skirt around the edge is fully seated in the corresponding channel on the screen.

INSTALLATION
