KLIM MANTIS DRIVERS
Our dedicated software for Windows lets you take your audio experience to the
next level and fully customize several aspects, including equalization,
surround sound and other audio effects. You can download it from our website:
www.klimtechs.com
NOTE: if you receive a warning indicating that the program is potentially
harmful, this is due to Windows certifications. We are in the process of
obtaining these certifications. However, the driver remains perfectly safe to
use.
Once the driver has been downloaded you can use a decompressing tool such as
WinRar to extract the folder into your hard drive.
Double-click on the Setup.exe icon and follow the on-screen instructions to
install the software. You may have to unplug and plug your headset during this
process.
**Volume Control Screen

I can’t hear anything coming from the headset
- Check that the KLIM Mantis is selected as the default audio device on your Windows, macOS, or PS4 audio settings, as well as on your game/software.
- Check the Audio Mix on your system.
I can’t change the volume on my PS4
Due to technical limitations of the PS4, the console does not allow access to the volume controller. You can change it via the console settings (Devices menu). To access it more quickly, long press the PS button to bring up the quick menu.
The headset is too loud even at minimum volume (Windows)
A known Windows bug may cause a connected headset or speaker to have an
abnormally loud volume. You can fix this using a free program called
EqualizerApo, which lets you set lower values for a specific device on your
system.
We thank you again for your purchase and hope that you enjoy using our KLIM
Mantis Gaming Headset. Do not hesitate to leave a comment on the site you
purchased it from, it will help us tremendously 🙂
FAQs
Why gaming headphones are important?****
Having a gaming headset with a good microphone can significantly improve your gaming experience. It allows you to communicate with your friends, which is crucial during multiplayer games. Most entry-level gaming headsets offer decent mic quality.
What should gaming earphones have?****
Most gaming headsets are made of plastic—often cheap plastic. It’s important to find a headset that feels sturdy. If you can find something with a metal or wireframe, that’s ideal. If you’re stuck with plastic, find something with enough range of movement to account for whatever the shape of your head is.
How do gaming headphones work?****
Many gaming headsets offer a noise canceling feature, which uses tiny microphones that listen to the outside noise around you. These noises are then analyzed by microchips in the gaming headset, and a counter-signal that cancels out the noise is produced.
Can gaming headphones be used for work?****
Gaming headsets lead the way when it comes to exceptional sound quality, but they’re also useful at work.
Can gaming headphones be used for music?****
Gaming headsets are not ideal for music, but that doesn’t mean they can’t be used for that purpose at all. Getting the right headset can help if you want a truly multi-purpose setup. We definitely recommend you mess around with the equalizer settings to find the perfect sound profile for gaming and music.
What is the best frequency for gaming headphones?****
Look for numbers between 12 Hz to a max of 28 KHz. Anything lower is too soft but higher than 28 KHz will give you noise pollution. However, the sweet spot ranges between 20 Hz to 20 KHz – perfect for any competitive game. Just don’t overthink the numbers too much.
Are gaming headsets universal?****
But you might want to think twice when it comes to your gaming headset. You can use a wired headset with almost any device, as long as it has a headphone jack. You can also hear your environment and your allies with clarity, without worrying about charging or compatibility issues.
How long should gaming headphones last?****
While most wireless gaming headsets last between 10 to 20 hours before needing a charge, the Sennheiser is designed to last a whopping 100 hours.
What determines the sound quality of headphones?****
Driver Diameter – Headphone sound quality depends to a great extent on the size of the diaphragm, which is indicated by the driver diameter: the larger the diameter, the better the sound quality tends to be. Most drivers for earbuds are 13.5–15.4 mm in diameter, with those for canal phones being 8.8–12.5 mm
How can I make my gaming headphones sound better?****
Try moving the mic closer to your mouth. Practice your plosives—P and B sounds, which make you exhale. If it sounds like a phone call on a windy day, try moving your mic to the side of your mouth, so air doesn’t hit it every time you breathe out.
