PARTS
- Cover
- Reservoir with grinding blade
- Base
BEFORE THE FIRST USE
- Remove all packaging materials and any promotional stickers before using for the first time.
- Clean the coffee grinder before use. See ‘Cleaning and maintenance’ section.
USE
-
Place the device on a firm, dry, even surface.
-
Remove the reservoir cover. Place the desired amount of beans in the reservoir. Make sure not to exceed the ‘max.’ indication (± 70 g). Replace the cover, making sure that the arrow on the cover corresponds with the ‘O’ mark on the base.
-
Plug the power cord into a socket.
-
To operate the blade, turn the cover clockwise so that the arrow on the cover corresponds with the ‘I’ indication on the base. Hold the cover down to keep grinding.
Attention: do not grind for longer than 1 minute at a time. -
To stop grinding, let go of the cover. The appliance stops automatically and the cover returns to the starting position.
-
Wait for the blade to come to a complete standstill before removing the cover. Once the desired grinding result has been achieved, remove the cover and unplug the power cord from the socket.
-
You can remove the reservoir with the ground coffee from the base. Turn the reservoir counterclockwise and lift it out of the base.
Be careful: the blades are very sharp.
TIPS
- The longer or more often you let the machine grind, the finer the grinding result. Coarsely ground coffee can be used for percolators, medium coarseness is suitable for coffee machines, and finely ground coffee is best used for espresso machines.
- Adjust the duration of the grinding or the number of times according to your personal preference and the type of bean you use.
- For the most delicious coffee, it is best to grind only the amount of coffee you wish to use. That’s how you get freshly ground beans every time.
- You can store coffee beans in a vacuum pack for 2 months in the freezer.
- Clean the device after each use. Ground coffee that is left behind can affect the taste.
- It is recommended to use the machine for grinding coffee beans only. Other ingredients may damage the appliance or leave an unpleasant odour or taste behind.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Always pull the plug out of the socket before cleaning the appliance.
- Do not clean the appliance under running water. Never immerse the base and reservoir in water.
- Remove the reservoir by turning it counter-clockwise and lifting it out of the base. Remove any remaining coffee grounds using a brush or a lint-free cloth. Replace the reservoir in the appliance by turning it clockwise.
- Wipe the base with a damp cloth and dry the appliance with a dry cloth.
- The reservoir cover can be cleaned using warm soapy water. Dry thoroughly.
- The coffee grinder and accessories are not dishwasher-safe.
