RAIN HARVESTING GSGO07 Gutter Outlets Rectangular Installation Guide

Our easy-install, below-the-gutter outlets improve water flow and extend the life of your gutters. By reducing snags and water pooling around your outlets, they reduce opportunities for mosquitoes to breed and decelerate water-related gutter corrosion.
The rectangular versions are suitable for flat bottom gutters with rectangular downpipes.

WHAT’S IN THE BOX?
- Gutter Outlet
TOOLS/MATERIALS YOU MAY REQUIRE
- Marker pen
- Tin snips
- Silicone
- Screw or rivet
- Screwdriver or rivet gun
- Drill
- Masking tape
GUTTER OUTLET

For new installations, use the inside of your Gutter Outlet as a template to mark the size of the hole you need to cut in the underside of your gutter.

If replacing an existing gutter outlet, remove the existing outlet and check the size of the hole in the underside of your gutter. If necessary, use the inside of your Gutter Outlet as a template to mark the new hole you need to cut.
Cut the hole for your new gutter outlet using snips or an appropriate tool. -
Clean the underside of your gutter around the hole.

Apply silicone into the groove located on the gutter outlet flange and push the gutter outlet up onto the underside of your gutter.

Use a screw or rivet to secure your gutter outlet in place.

You can now attach or re-attach your downpipe to the gutter outlet (note: if using tape to temporarily secure your gutter outlet, take care not to disturb the bond until sealant dries)
