Installation Instructions:

1. Ensure that the armature and the magnetic lock surfaces are perfectly aligned when the gate is in the closed position to achieve maximum holding strength.
2. Securely fasten the armature to the gate frame or door and use a rubber spacer to align it with the magnetic lock properly.
3. Mount the armature directly to the gate frame or door with a sexnut that is secured through the gate frame or door into the armature bolt.
4. Use spacer washer(s) if needed to shorten the length of hexbolt.

Usage Instructions:

1. Wire the magnetic gate lock using the provided 24VDC or 12VDC transformer.
2. Install the supplied diode across the positive and negative lines AFTER the relay to protect the magnetic lock from transient voltage spikes.
3. Connect the blue wire of the relay contact to Normally Closed (NC), brown wire to Common (COM), and yellow wire to Normally Open (NO).
4. Connect the positive wire of the access control device or gate operator to the relay contact labeled “Positive Access Control Device or Gate Operator (Normally Closed)”, and the negative wire to the relay contact labeled “Negative”.
5. Use 16 AWG-200 Ft or 18 AWG-100 Ft 12 or 24 VDC wire run as required.

Installation

It is essential that the surfaces of the armature and the magnetic lock seat perfectly to one another when the gate is in the closed position. This allows the lock to achieve its maximum holding strength. It is critical the armature is securely fastened to the gate frame or door, but able to move with the rubber spacer to correctly align with the magnetic lock.

Mount the armature directly to the gate frame or door. Secure sexnut through the gate frame or door into the armature bolt.
