  5. CAL button :
    Quick enter measuring mode During the measuring mode, press CAL button and the value of zero will be auto-displayed.

  6. The user may hold the present reading and keep it the LCD display by pressing the “HOLD” button. To release the held data operation by pressing it again.
    The user can press the button when the value is hard to read, such as measuring in the dark place.

  13. Indicate meter in automatic power off mode This Light Meter provides an automatic power-off function in order to avoid using up the battery if you forget to turn off  the power. The meter will power off itself after 30 minutes if no key is operated.

  • Read the following safety information carefully before attempting to operate or service the meter.
    Use the meter only as specified in this manual; otherwise, the protection provided by the meter may be impaired.

  • Environment Conditions: Altitude up to 2000 meters, Relative humidity 90% max., Operation Ambient 0 to 40°C

  • Check if contents of the package is undamaged complete.

  • For cleaning the instrument please do not use an abrasive cleaner only a dry piece of soft cloth. Do not allow any liquid into the interior of the device.

  • Please store the measuring instrument in a dry and clean place.

  • Avoid any force like shocks or pressure to the instrument.

  • No responsibility is taken for irregular or incomplete measuring values and the ir results, the liability for subsequent damages is excluded!

  • Do not use the device in explosive areas.
    Danger of death!

  • Keep these devices and the batteries out of reach of children.

  • Batteries contain harmful acids and may be hazardous if swallowed. If a battery is swallowed, this can lead to serious internal burns and death within two hours. If you  suspect a battery could have been swallowed or otherwise caught in the body, seek medical help immediately.

  • Batteries must not be thrown into a fire, short-circuited, taken apart or recharged. Risk of explosion!

  • Low batteries should be changed as soon as possible to prevent damage caused by leaking.
    Never use a combination of old and new batteries together, nor batteries of different types.

  • Wear chemical-resistant protective gloves and safety glasses when handling leaking batteries. ·

General Description

To ensure that you can get the most from it, we recommend that you read and follow the manual carefully before use.

Operation

Press the power button to turn on the power. No- tice that covering the light- detecting surface with the cap .
will auto-appear on the LCD display.
After appears, the meter enters the automatic zero adjustment. When automatic zero adjustment is complet disappears and “0.00 ” aappears.
After confirming the “0.00 ” display, remove the cap to start measuring. After the measurement has been completed, press the power button again to turn off the power, and  cover the light-detecting surface with the cap for protecting against stray light.

Note:
If appears, check the cap to make sure it is on properly.
Press and hold the HOLD button, and then power on the meter, release all button to disable the AUTO POWER OFF function.“ ”symbol will disappear on the LCD display.

Replacement of battery
When the battery voltage drops below the operating voltage , a“ +- “ symbol will appear on the LCD display. In this case, replace a new battery immediately.

Waste disposal

The return service is free of charge. Observe the current regulations in place!

Disposal of the batteries
Batteries and rechargeable batteries must never be disposed of with household waste. They contain pollutants such as heavy metals, which can be harmful to the environment and human health if disposed of improperly, and valuable raw materials such as iron, zinc, manganese or nickel that can be recovered from waste. As a consumer, you are legally obliged to hand in used batteries and rechargeable batteries for environmentally friendly disposal at retailers or appropriate collection points in accordance with national or local regulations. The return service is free of charge. You can obtain addresses of suitable collection points from your city council or local authority. The names for the heavy metals contained are: Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury, Pb = lead. Reduce the generation of waste from batteries by using batteries with a longer lifespan or suitable rechargeable batteries. Avoid littering the environment and do not leave batteries or battery-containing electrical and electronic devices lying around carelessly. The separate collection and recycling of batteries and rechargeable batteries make an important contribution to relieving the impact on the environment and avoiding health risks.
