Installation Instructions

This guide includes instructions for installing the Bose Professional AMM Suspension Bracket for use with the Bose Professional AMM108/AMM112 loudspeakers. To ensure safe product installation, it is the installer’s responsibility to refer to all relevant documentation for this product and all other installation components before installing the product.

Before installing the AMM Suspension Bracket, please read this installation guide and the AMM108/AMM112 product guide. To access additional documentation, scan the QR code on this page or visit BoseProfessional.com/AMMSbracket.

If you are using additional components or hardware in your installation, please review all relevant documentation for those products.

Note: Choose appropriate fasteners to support the weight of the loudspeaker with your suspension system (see the AMM108/AMM112 product guide for the product weight). Choose fasteners that are consistent with all local building codes and requirements.

The AMM Suspension Bracket is not designed for permanent outdoor use.

  1. Attach the bracket to two M10 threaded attachment points on the loudspeaker using the included M10 screws and washers (see the AMM108/AMM112 product guide for the usable attachment points).
  2. Attach load-rated 19 mm (5/8-inch) lifting shackles to the desired hole of the suspension bracket. (The first labeled row of angles is for use with the AMM108 loudspeaker. The second labeled row of angles is for use with the AMM112 loudspeaker.)

  • This product is intended for installation by professional installers only! This document is intended to provide professional installers with basic installation and safety guidelines for this product. Please read this document and all safety warnings before attempting installation.
  • Installed loudspeakers require regular inspection and routine maintenance to ensure proper function and safe operation. Inspect mounting hardware and attachments for signs of corrosion, bending or any other condition that may decrease the structural integrity. Immediately replace worn or damaged components.
  • Unsafe mounting or overhead suspension of any heavy load can result in serious injury or death, and property damage. It is the installer’s responsibility to evaluate the reliability of any mounting method used for their application. Only professional installers with the knowledge of proper hardware and safe mounting techniques should attempt to install any loudspeaker overhead.
  • All Bose Professional products must be installed in accordance with local, state, federal and industry regulations. It is the installer’s responsibility to ensure installation of the loudspeakers and mounting system is performed in accordance with all applicable codes, including local building codes and regulations. Consult the local authority having jurisdiction before installing this product.
  • Use only the hardware and accessories included or specified by Bose Professional. Hardware for securing the loudspeaker to the mounting surface is not supplied. For information on compatible accessories, see the product’s technical data sheet at BoseProfessional.com.
  • Do not mount on surfaces that are not sturdy, or that have hazards concealed behind them, such as electrical wiring or plumbing.
  • Do not make unauthorized alterations to this product.
  • Do not expose loudspeaker or mounting components to any chemical substances that are not specified by Bose Professional, including but not limited to lubricants, cleaning agents, contact sprays, or other hydrocarbon-based solvents. Exposure to such substances can lead to degradation of the plastic material, resulting in cracking and creating a falling hazard.
  • Do not place or install the bracket or product near any heat sources, such as fireplaces, radiators, heat registers or other apparatus (including amplifiers) that produce heat.
