SANDCRAFT C13202111 Polaris RZR Pro XP Driveline and Carrier Bearing

TOOLS REQUIRED

• 10,13,15,17,30MM SOCKET
• 1/2”, 12pt 1/4” SOCKET
• 5/16” pin punch
• 5/16” SOCKET
• 5MM ALLEN WRENCH
• T40 WRENCH
• HAMMER
• FLOOR JACK
• JACK STANDS

INSTALLATION

1. Remove the skid plates to access the driveline, this is done on the ground before lifting the rear of the vehicle.
2. Safely jack the rear wheels off the ground, secure with jack stands. A lift is not required for this installation.
3. Remove 4mm Allen X4 bolts from the yolk straps on the rear yolk. Remove the yolk straps.
4. Remove 2X T40 bolts from the safety strap. Remove the safety strap.
5. Remove 2X 15mm bolts from the carrier bearing.
6. Remove 4X 13mm bolts from the cross member.
7. Once the bolts are removed, carefully lower and rotate the cross member to the side to access the bearing.
8. Carefully tap out the roll pin from the front of the driveline at the front differential. CAUTION: Use small, light taps. Too much pressure can cause side load damage to the pinion bearing of your front differential.
9. Disengage the 4 bolt strap yoke from the rear driveline at the transmission. Slide the rear driveline to the driver side.
10. Disengage the front and rear drivelines. Both sections of the driveline are removed from the center of the vehicle. The front slides out towards the rear, the rear slides out towards the front.
11. Remove 1X 30mm nut holding the yoke to the transmission output shaft. Use a wrench to secure the yoke in place to prevent transmission damage during removal.
12. Remove the 4X bolts from the straps on the larger SANDCRAFT rear yoke. Remove the SANDCRAFT rear yoke.
13. Install the rear yoke to the transmission output shaft using the OE 30MM nut and washer. Torque to 80 Ft-Lbs.
14. Insert the new SANDCRAFT Driveline Front and Rear sections the same way you removed the OE Driveline sections.
15. Engage the front section of the SANDCRAFT driveline to the front differential. Line up the retainer bolt hole.
16. Carefully insert the retaining bolt. Install the metal lock nut. Torque to 20 Ft-Lb (+/- 5 Lb) using a 1/2” socket.
17. Apply blue threadlocker to the 2 pinch bolts and tighten them to 8 Ft-Lbs using a 1/4” 12 point socket.
18. Engage the front and rear sections of the driveline at the carrier bearing aligning the master spline with the grease zerk fitting.
19. At the rear, engage the U-Joint to the saddles of the Strap Yoke. Install straps and 4X bolts. Apply blue threadlocker. Torque to 12 Ft-Lbs using a 5/16” socket.
20. Carefully slide the cross member back into place. Install the 4X bolts using a 13mm socket. Torque to 18 Ft-Lbs.
21. Install the ‘TOP’ SANDCRAFT Carrier Bearing mounting bracket between the Carrier Bearing and the Cross Member with the bushing facing down.
22. Install the ‘BOTTOM’ Carrier Bearing bracket to the bottom of the cross member with the bushing facing up. Install 2X bolts with a blue thread locker using a 17mm socket. Torque to 22 Ft-Lbs.
23. Install the OE Safety Hoop using 2X T40 bolts. You will need to modify the hoop shape to fit the new corrected driveline angle. Torque to 8 Ft-Lbs.
24. Ensure the driveline rotates freely and double-check your work. Grease the slip yoke. Lower the vehicle to the ground and re-install the skid plates.
