Product Information

The product is a switch for controlling a garage door, designed and manufactured by Kanlux. It operates on a 2.4 GHz WiFi network and requires the use of the SMART LIFE mobile application, which can be downloaded from the App Store or Google Play Store. The switch has a transmitting power of 16dBm and a maximum controlling distance of 30 meters.

Product Usage Instructions

1. Ensure that your phone or tablet is connected to a 2.4 GHz WiFi network. This product does not work with a 5 GHz WiFi network.
2. To install the product, you will need the name of your WiFi network and the WiFi password.
3. Download and install the SMART LIFE application by scanning the QR code provided or visiting the website www.kanlux.com.
4. Follow the instructions in the SMART LIFE application to connect the switch to your WiFi network.
5. Once connected, you can use the SMART LIFE application to control your garage door. Refer to the application’s user manual for detailed instructions on how to use its features and functionalities.

SAFETY GUIDELINES

• Before getting started. Make sure your phone or tablet is connected to a 2.4GHz WiFi network. This product does not work on a 5GHz WiFi network.
• To install this product you will need your WiFi network name and WiFi password. Download the SMART LIFE App from the App Store or Google Play Store.
• The SMART LIFE application can be downloaded and installed by scanning the QR code on the package.
• Open the App. When using the App for the first time you have to register a new account. After registering you can login to the App. Put the device into pairing/reset mode.
• Keep the button on the device pressed until the LED starts flashing. Click “Add device” or “+” in the upper right corner，then select “Electrical engineering” and “Garage door opener (BLE+Wi-Fi)”, enter the Wi-Fi password. Click “Next”
• Confirm by pressing “Device is flashing quickly”. Now enter the WiFi network name and password and confirm with the “Confirm” button. The socket is being connected. If successfully connected, the LED stops flashing. Now, the new device can be set up, controlled, and configured via the app. A detailed description of the program configuration is available for download at www.kanlux.com We recommend performing a compatibility test before installation.
• Connect the black and red wires to the control terminals of the garage door operator. Connect the garage door Wi-Fi controller to the power supply.
• The LED on the garage door Wi-Fi controller will flash blue and red alternately.
• Press the button on the Wi-Fi controller.
• The garage door operator should start working. If there is no response, your device may be incompatible. Product for indoor use.
• Technical changes reserved. Read the manual before mounting. Mounting should be performed by an appropriately qualified person. Any activities to be done with disconnected power supply. Exercise particular caution. Mounting diagram: see pictures.
• The product can be connected to a supply network that meets energy quality standards as prescribed by law. Check for proper mechanical fastening and connection to electrical power prior to first use.
• Do not exceed the maximum load power: see pictures.
