POWER SUPPLY, CHARGING THE ACCUMULATOR

The battery must be charged before first use. Connect the supplied micro USB connection cable to the socket under the rubber cover and the other end to a USB adapter, mobile charger, computer, or another device with a USB socket. Leave the loudspeaker switched off. During charging – next to the volume control – a small red LED lights up, which goes out after full charging. Then unplug the power cord and use the device. When the battery is completely discharged, the charging time is approximately 9 hours. This provides approx. 30 hours of operation from the internal battery at medium volume. This also depends on the volume set, the mode selected and the ambient temperature. The test was performed by listening to the radio at room temperature. It can also be charged during use, but this increases charging time and can cause additional noise. The test was performed by listening to the radio at room temperature. It can also be charged during use, but this increases charging time and can cause additional noise.
„LO” appears on the display and the ”Low battery, please charge” announcement warns to charge.

This is also indicated by the declining volume and poorer sound quality.

  • Switch off and unplug the charging cable after charging and use.
  • Only leave connected after a full charge if the device is running continuously. Charging may occasionally cause noise in the speakers and degrade the quality of radio reception. This device is designed to be used with a battery, it is recommended to recharge it after use.
  • The automatic battery charger works when the device is switched off. Therefore, disconnect the charging cable after charging is complete.
  • Charge status indicator: when switched on, the battery symbol on the right side of the display shows the battery status. This symbol changes towards the end of the operating time.
  • For longer life, keep the battery charged, even when not in use.
  • The battery used is a lithium-ion type. It requires no maintenance. At the end of its service life, it can be replaced by a specialist after removing the control panel. The cover is fixed with screws.

INSTALLATION

Make all connections (AUX, MIC) when the device is switched off and the external devices to be connected must also be switched off. Make sure that the connections and polarity of the connectors are correct. Keep the microphone cable and audio connection cable away from the power cords. Turn on with the rotary knob on the right, then increase the volume slightly. After the HI greeting, the wireless BT switches to connection mode. If you have previously paired an external BT device with it – and it is nearby – the connection will be made automatically

FUNCTION CHANGE

The function to be operated can be selected by pressing the MODE button: BT- USB-FM-AUX-BT… Available multimedia functions: wireless BT connection, USB MP3 player, FM radio, AUX (LINE) audio input, external microphone input.

  • USB and / or AUX mode cannot be selected if no data storage is connected with songs and / or external audio device with a 3.5 mm plug.
  • The various functions are indicated by an English voice announcement.
  • When used outdoors or in a dusty, humid place indoors, keep the rubber cover carefully closed.
THE MAXIMUM VOLUME

Every speaker must be eased into working before proper usage. In the first 30-50 operation hours it should only run at 50% capacity! At higher volume levels – in some cases – there may be distorted, low-quality sound. This can be caused by the too large input signal. To avoid this, reduce the signal level of the particular external equipment or if necessary the main volume (VOLUME). The system’s maximum volume is that which can still be heard without distortions.

  • By further increasing the volume, there is no increase in output power, or even the distortion of the system increases! This is harmful to the loudspeaker and may cause malfunction!
  • When connecting a microphone, place it as far away from the speaker box as possible to prevent excitation. Do not point the speaker at the microphone, as excitation may damage the speaker. When using a microphone, carefully increase the volume, and if you experience excitation, immediately rewind the control and, if necessary, move the speaker to another position.

WIRELESS BT CONNECTION

The device can be paired to other devices with BT protocol within a range of up to 10 meters. After that, you can listen to music played on mobile phone, tablet, notebook and other similar devices hands-free. Select BT function with the MODE button. Search for the speakers nearby including this speaker, the way it’s written in the instruction manual of the device to be paired. Connect the two devices together. After successful connection, the BT indicator flashing until then can be read continuously on the display.

Thereafter, the desired program can be heard from the speaker in good quality. The player device (e.g. the mobile phone) can usually be remotely controlled by pressing briefly the / / buttons. If you receive a call on your phone in the meantime, the music will pause. Answer the call as usual with your phone, and after the conversation ends, you can resume playing music.

You cannot listen to the telephone conversation on the radio.

  • You can adjust the sound to suit your needs with the equalizer application installed on your mobile phone. Also make sure that the multimedia volume control on your phone is set correctly.
  • Low levels can cause more noise, too high levels can cause distortion. The setting must be made in accordance with the speaker volume control.
  • A speaker can be paired with one BT device at the same time.
  • If your phone asks for a password during pairing, enter “0000”.
  • Press and hold to switch the BT connection on and off.
  • After turning it on, it will automatically reconnect to a previously paired and properly connected device if it is turned on nearby.
  • If a wireless connection is interrupted, if necessary, keep pressing the MODE button, until it’s back to BT function, and pairing mode activates again.
  • When a phone call is received on the connected mobile phone while listening to music, music playback pauses. After the conversation, start the continuation of playback on the phone if it does not happen automatically
  • The actual range depends on the other device and the ambient conditions. (e.g. walls, human bodies, other electrical devices, movement …)
  • In abnormal operation, noise can be caused by the electrical appliances nearby, this does not indicate a malfunction of the device!
  • The abnormal operation may be caused by the specific features of the external device, which does not indicate a malfunction of the device! Occasionally, the BT function may operate limited due to the specific features of the external device.
  • Charging may occasionally cause noise in the speakers and degrade the quality of radio reception. This device is designed to be used with a battery, it is recommended to recharge it after use.

MP3 PLAYBACK FROM USB STORAGE

The player is ready for use when the unit is turned on. Carefully insert the USB storage device and the unit will automatically switch to MP3 playback mode, then playback will start. The display shows USB and shows the elapsed time of the current track and the track number when scrolling. Press the button to start playback, but it will also start automatically after inserting the external device. Use the same button to pause playback (PAUSE) or use the scroll buttons to select the desired track. Pressing and holding the latter will perform a quick search within the current track.

  • When turned on, you can resume playing the last track you listened to.
  • The recommended file system for memory is: FAT32. Do not use NTFS formatted memory unit!
  • If the unit does not output sound or the USB memory is not recognized, remove it, then reconnect the memory and select it again with the MODE button. If necessary, switch the device off and on again!
  • Only remove the external memory after you have changed to a different source with the MODE button or you have switched off the player! Otherwise, the data may be corrupted. Do not remove the connected external unit during playback!
  • There is only one way to insert a USB device. If that doesn’t work, turn it over and try again; don’t force it!
  • Make sure that devices protruding from the appliance are not damaged!
  • The abnormal operation may be caused by the unique features of the mass storage device, which does not indicate a malfunction of the device!
  • Do not charge a device (e.g. mobile phone) from the USB socket!
USE OF THE RADIO

Select the FM radio mode by briefly pressing the MODE button. The display shows the reception frequency. To start auto-tuning and storage, press the button for ~ 2 seconds. When the setting is completed, the unit switches to the first radio program found. Additional memorized programs can be accessed by briefly pressing the scroll buttons. The program positions P01… P50 on the display show the storage location of the respective radio station.

  • Pressing briefly the button mutes the radio, and pressing it again switches the speaker back on.
  • The search stops when it detects a variable signal strength – this does not always mean finding a radio program.
  • The reception capability of the radio depends to a large extent on the place of use and the current reception conditions.
  • Do not place large metal objects or electrical equipment near the device!
  • Carefully pull out the rear telescopic antenna and adjust it for the best reception. The placement of the device also affects the quality of reception. In poor reception areas, the connected
  • AUX cable also acts as an antenna, improving reception.
  • If you listen while charging, network noise may occasionally occur in the speakers. This device is designed to be used with a battery, it is recommended to recharge it after use.

KARAOKE FUNCTION

If you have a microphone with a 6.3 mm diameter plug, you can accompany the songs you are playing with songs. Insert the microphone plug into the MIC jack. Adjust the desired volume with the MIC control.

WIRED AUDIO INPUT (AUX)

The 3,5mm AUX (LINE IN) input is used to connect external devices with headphone output or audio output to the amplifier (mobile phone, tablet, computer, multimedia player, instrument, CD / DVD…). When the plug is inserted, the AUX (LINE IN) input is activated automatically and the message LINE appears on the display.

  • The available sound quality depends on the quality of the audio signal provided by the external device and its volume and tone settings.
  • A small signal (volume) input to the sound box may cause extra noise and a signal that is too large may cause distortion. It is recommended to keep the volume of the source at a moderate level.
  • In some cases, you may need to purchase a connecting cable or external adapter for proper connection.
  • For further information, refer to the instruction manual of the device you want to connect.
  • In poor reception areas, the connected AUX cable also acts as an antenna, improving reception.

BUILT-IN LAMP AND EMERGENCY LIGHT

The rear light can be useful companion after dark or even searching in the trunk. By pressing the LAMP button once, it lights continuously, and when pressed it twice, the lamp lights intermittently. The third button press switches it off.

  • The flashing light functions as the classic „SOS” emergency call (three short and three long flashes).
  • The lamp can be used independently when the unit is turned off.
